Double Feelings.

Darren's POV.

I glanced at the surroundings slowly, waiting for any sign of intrusion.

Everything seemed fine, I could sight the guards parading the area, this made me happy that they were following my instructions.

I took the path leading to the garden and began making a quick trip around the perimeter.

There was nothing out of the ordinary so far.

I groaned immediately a body rammed into mine, my nostrils flared immediately I smelt her.

Her delicious scent made my head spin in an instant as if my brain had gone haywire.

I pushed her away violently and glared at her, trying hard not to react to her scent.

She looked at me with wide eyes as she stumbled backward a few steps and looked at me with a hint of fear in them.

She gasped swallowing immediately, I glared at her, my eyes taking her in from her shoes to her tousled hair, her messy attire and the way she held her hands behind her back defensively, a little too defensive, but I wasn't shocked because I knew I terrified her.
