I entered the office-looking room, and everyone's attention turn to me as I entered.

"Ah, is she the new girl, something?" One man asked.

"Hi," I mumbled.

I entered the area, which appeared to be an office, huge and spacious, with each cubicle containing at least five to seven people.

But what stands out the most is that they were all wearing a mask. No, not a medical mask, but a mask that covered their entire faces for a reason that I don't know.

Weird. I thought.

The mask was black, with just their eyes visible, yet it was still difficult to see due to the thickness of the mask, which covered their entire faces.

"Yeah, that's what the boss told us." One man said as he motioned me to come near him. "Come here, we'll be guiding you."

"Okay..."

"So, we'll first start on how you do this. Our bosses love this specific drink and serve—"

"Yeah, I already know how to do it. I've been doing this before." I said as I grabbed the items from the table.

I poured the drink mixtures swiftly, skill

"I'm done here." I passed the papers on to the other worker, yawning as I finally ended my shift. Just the usual day, typing, making paperwork, and serving. I honestly preferred this than to be with The Regio, with their suffocating presence, threatening aura, how, before every dinner, I would sit with them at the table, feeling my appetite fade away, how whenever they were spending time with me, I would shy away, nervousness looming over me, especially those days when I can feel their stares on me. I also haven't seen Zacharias, Leo, and Toshiro for days now. The other Regio executives said that they just handled some business. "You may now leave, Ms. Miran." One of the guys with a mask said while I nodded in response. I still have no slightest idea what their identity is. Nonetheless, I follow their so-called 'policy'. "Where's Mask?" I asked before going out of the office. "He's just working with the others; Regio's paper works are now overloaded, so mask assisted the others."

"However, isn't it filthy?" Lorenzo whispered. My eyes widened as I tried to look up at him, but his grip on the back of my head was too strong. After all, he's my boss and I'm just his mere employee, right? He grabbed my chin and forced me to look up at him, where he noticed tears forming in my eyes and a malicious smirk on his face."Filthy how I got my dear employee begging for me."Forbidden."But don't worry, I'll take care of that."All so forbidden. He then started to hold my cheeks, leaning in as he kissed me deeply, prompting me to grind on his thigh again, but now I can feel how his pants tighten under me, making my clothed entrance throb."A-ah~" I gasped as he thrust upwards, making contact with my damp entrance, rubbing harder as the kiss became sloppy. The kiss came to a halt as we both needed more air. My glistening eyes almost squinted as I stared at him.His hand then moved from my hip to my thighs, prying them wide while I grind. He then slipped his fingers into my u

Morning came in quickly, as if I had just slept seconds ago. I tried to get up, but the sharp jolt of pain in my brain and body instigated me to lie down again.I hissed in pain as I slowly sat up, groaning. My cheeks heat up as I remember what had just happened last night."Yeah, I'm fucked up." I facepalmed my face, and when I meant that, I meant it literally.Entering the bathroom, my mind went flying as I almost dozed off while brushing my teeth.Minutes passed, and I went out of my room, only to see Leo leaning against the wall beside my door, his arms crossed as his head lazily turned to me."Um, hi? Morning?" I greeted.Leo scoffed as he leaned his head on the wall, avoiding my gaze until he spoke. "Stop acting clueless. I've been calling you for a certain order for the whole night, and it's urgent, but you're nowhere to be found. One employee informed me you went to Lorenzo's office. What happened?" I almost choked on my words. "Huh? Oh, I'm sorry." I tried to act it off, she

"Allura! You're finally back."Mask was the first to greet me as soon as I entered the office."Hi, I'm sorry I didn't get to attend for the last three days." I immediately apologized for the burden as I scratch the back of my head."Ah it's fine, I have something for you." He said as the both of us walked into his cubicle."Wait—" My words were cut off as soon as I saw the organized stack of papers on my desk."What are these? Don't tell me..." I squealed as my eyes shone in surprise. Mask finished all of my work in just four days."No problem, I heard Sir Lorenzo say that you had a small injury, so that's why I did all your work." He said. My eyes widened as I looked at him."Ah... y-yeah minor injury. My leg is still recovering from it." I forced out a laugh."What happened though?" He asked."I slipped down the stairs." I quickly made up a reason."Must be bad. You should eat first. You missed breakfast, right?" He asked as he faced his table."How'd you know?""Just a guess." Mas

I groggily woke up with pain in my head. As soon as I opened my eyes, the first thing that I saw was Lorenzo sitting at the side of the bed. "Good morning. How are you?" He asked as he pulled the table near the bed with a tray of breakfast. "What happened?" Was the first thing I asked, as the banging pain in my head won't stop, but I felt a damp towel on top of my forehead. "You fainted due to fatigue and exhaustion last night." Lorenzo told. I only nodded. "Yeah, didn't you eat lunch and dinner yesterday?" Lorenzo asked. "No," I answered while avoiding his gaze. I looked at the window that had the perfect view of the sunrise. "Why?" "I had to finish what your brother gave me." Lorenzo stayed silent, he looked around and sighed. "I scolded Leo last night after he came back." "Came back?" I turned my head back to Lorenzo. "Yeah, he's the one who brought you into your room." My eyes widened for a bit, but then I took them back and sat up from the bed, which startled Lorenzo.

"Is that so?"Zacharias strictly muttered as he stared intently at the three middle-aged men kneeling on the ground. Their mouths were covered with tape, their hands tied, blood flowing in their skulls, bruised bodies, broken bones, and everything. They're in The Regio's basement, where they handle things differently when it comes to physical issues, rather than with business and paper work - files in their offices.Hasen ripped the tape from their mouths, prompting them to speak. The skin on their lips ripped, drawing more blood, but they couldn't care less as their life is on the line.Hasen removed his gloves and stepped at the man's back, prompting them to speak.Hasen Dolores... Also one of The Regio's executives, but he seldom appears on occasions because his position in the organization is as an agent and ambush for adversaries. He prefers to keep it hidden since it may jeopardize his position in the organization."B-Boss! W-We didn't do it, boss, please!" The man kneeled and b

Allura was sleeping soundly until she heard a defeating thunder that jolted her awake. Her heart raced from the sounds and just checked the time to distract herself. It's currently two o'clock in the morning. Feeling thirsty, I stood and strolled outside the room to find a kitchen.Walking down the hallway, I noticed that the place was dark. I entered the large kitchen and opened the fridge, finding a glass of water.A loud thud was heard just outside the kitchen, making me flinch.I went outside the kitchen, and I looked from right to left, no one appeared to be around."Oh hell no," I whispered.I quickly sprint off and brought the glass of water with me, planning to go back to the room, but since the whole place is dark, and lights were barely on, I can almost see nothing but pitch black, especially since this place is complex, with so many corridors.Because of my panics and quivering hands, water spilled on the floor from my glass of water. I looked down and what I saw made my e

He commanded."O-Okay..." I sighed as I placed my arms up and turned around with my back now facing him.He then inched closer behind me and inspected my pockets. My breath hitched as I felt his breath on the back of my neck as he leaned forward.Zacharias' eyes narrowed as he felt two solid things inside my pocket, so he took them out and saw the small recorder and key."Oh?" He muttered as he observed the two objects.Beads of sweat rolls were rolling down my forehead. I breathed heavily as I bit the inside of my cheeks."Where'd you get this?" He asked once more as he tossed the two things on the table.I gritted my teeth as I didn't answer. He cli

Any person would freak out if they see this church, even the village itself. Anyone wouldn't dare to go here. But Zacharias and Allura? Why would they be? This place is what they call a beauty, yet none of them admitted that. They kept it to themselves like a secret. Just like before. As to why Zacharias regretted things now. He was indeed too late. "Let's enter?" I asked. "Let's go to the garden," but a different thing was in his mind. "A garden?" I tried to remember what it was. "I'll be left here alone, Ms. Marin. I'll just be waiting here." Willbert said and I just nodded but kept I phone with me. As Zacharias and Allura entered the church, he opened the rusty wooden double door, directing them to the church's garden. There, it shows an old patio, a rusty table and chairs, a cracked small stone fountain, a fence filled with webs now, and those fairy lights still hanging on the tree's branches. My eyes widened as I remember all of these in one place. Why was knowing my p

"She'll never arrive ten minutes early." Toshiro said as he looked at his wristwatch. Zacharias and the others have been waiting inside the van for over thirty minutes. They complain about the time, but they're always too advanced of arrival. Just like any other business trip, they'd all gathered to check that place discussed in the meeting the other day. "Ms. Marin is here," Kanji said, addressing me... formally. "Just came in time." I thought as I greeted each of them and also introduced Willbert to them, the secretary. As Zacharias continued to attempt to avoid her, he couldn't help but notice this one new behavior she developed. Allura never arrive early yet late, but instead, she's always arriving at the exact time. He just gave me a nod and a formal handshake as I then walked out to ride in my car to just follow them to the place. "Now I know the reason why you kept on rejecting Dias Corporation's offer," Kanji muttered. As the van began to drive toward their destination

"Mom, I'm sorry, I couldn't convince that large company to continue the partnership." I said on my phone while I'm currently in my room, and Eri is out of town for business matters, so it's me who's handling the company for now. Eri kept silent for a moment, and my brows furrowed as I looked at my phone screen to check if the call has ended. "Mom? Are you still there?" "Oh, yeah. I'm still here," Eri mumbled, and her tone was monotonous. "Is everything alright there? I should tell Secretary Willbert to escort you there. I can handle the company here." I said, sounding worried. "No, it's fine. I've already spoken to the company you've been mentioning for the past few days, too." Eri said. "Really?" My eyes shone. "I'll surely give you half of my shares when we continue the partnership, but of course, I need to give an outlook to their employees first. We can't just trust the human resources team sometimes." Eri really had no energy left ever since that day Allura asked her abou

They kept on insisting on pushing this future plan of theirs and the partnership." Zane informed."Why am I only informed now?" I stopped with my work and looked at him."Madame Dhiore told me not to inform you since she wants the higher positions to handle this. She didn't want to add up more work for you."
