Andie and the others left for the ICU of the people’s hospital, their heads hung low.

Neil and Yasmin showed up as well. Their faces were grim as they looked into the sick room.

Around ten minutes ago, Quincy’s condition worsened again; she let out a few mouthfuls of blood, and the energy inside her kept crashing into a few of her bones, breaking them in the process.

Quincy wanted to struggle, but she simply wouldn’t dare; she had no choice but to hold onto the white blanket as she shivered in pain.

It was a miserable sight; she looked as if she was about to die at any moment.

“It’s okay. Your father’s here. It’s alright…”

Neil wanted to hold onto his daughter’s hand, but he was afraid of her condition worsening.

“I’ll find a way for you to recover! Believe me! You need to hold on!”

Neil hesitated for a moment before looking at Courtney, who was standing not far away from him.

“Will sedatives help with Quincy’s condition? She might exhaust herself completely if this keeps up,”
