I bowed my head as I walked out from Emily’s office. I know I have been too out of line last night. Seeing her cutting all of the communication we had already proved me. But Maddy told me to still come here, so maybe Emilu could count it as an effort, which is I agreed on with her. That is why I am here today.

I sighed as I entered the lift. I pulled out my phone and saw that Rebecca called me.  I was about call him back when there is a message popped up in my phone screen. I read the message was from Maddy informing me that she is having lunch with her co-worker.

I replied with a simple, enjou, babe.

Before I called back to Rebecca and informing her that I am not coming back to the office again. After that I head off to my car and started the engine. I am driving to my parents’ house again. I wanted to inform my mum that I am going to prepare for everything about my surprise proposal to Maddy.
