"I thought Xander Levon Balstair was a brave man, but it turns out he was just a cowardly rogue prince."

Xander stared at the man before him with a face full of anger. His hands clenched into fists, the wolf inside him roaring, wanting to come out and teach the alpha bastard a lesson.

But for a moment, his brain went back to thinking about what would happen to Xevia if he fought with that bastard. He feared this was just Alarick's way to break his focus, to take Xevia away from him.

He had to think about it first.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he said flatly, taking a step back from his rival. He did his best not to attack, and prepared to run with all his might, because even if that was what Alarick wanted, he couldn't fight now. Not now, Xevia's safety was his priority.

"Your mate's body, so delicious and voluptuous. I'm sure you must not have touched an inch of her. Do you know what we have done in the past month?"

"Every day all we did was fuck, and fuck, day and night

"Is it true that the baby I'm carrying is your son?"The man just smiled and nodded."How is that possible?" asked Xevia.Xander stood before her, he looked at her meaningfully, his icy hands reaching for her fingers."You can ask Archer, when you wake up....""Wake up? What do you mean?""You're just dreaming now..." Xander said as his cold hand gently touched Xevia's cheek."Take care of him, take care of our child, I love you Xevia, I will continue to love you even though I know -"Xevia silenced Xander's lips with hers before he could even finish his sentence. But the moment Xevia's lips touched Xander's cold, icy lips, suddenly a blinding light blinded her eyes. After that celebratory moment, Xevia went to her room, to the room Xander had prepared for her and the baby long ago. There she bemoaned her fate, regretting what she had done. Regretting that she had wasted Xander. The man who loved her tenderly. She hugged her baby, then her shoulders began to shake and she cried."Leonidas..." Xevia murmured her baby's name. The name was given to the baby by Archer."I wish you were here, Xander, look at him, he looks so much like you," she hissed as she stared at the clear glass before her.I wish you were still here Xander. I wish I could make up for all my mistakes. If only....Xevia could only wish, it was too late and she wouldn't be able to turn back time. The regret inside her would be useless if she didn't do something to avenge the death of her son's father.More or less, Xevia began to know that Xander's death and the destruction of her mate's organisation had something to do with the Ivyari and Luciad families.***"Can I come in?" "My father? What do you mean, do you really know my father?""I've known who your father is since the first day I saw you. Right on the day Xander took and saved your life." Uncle started his story."Uncle, do you know what happened to me that day? Can you explain it to me?"The man let out a long sigh, "Actually this is all my fault. Because I forced Xander to drink a potion that hadn't really been tested. I was selfish and asked him to be a guinea pig.""When your pack kicked you out and banished you to the Aminour forest, Xander found you. And by then he was turning into a big uncontrollable wolf, so he couldn't control his own abilities. He acted brutally and caused the baby you were carrying to die.""So?" Xevia shook her head in disbelief."The one who died back then was the baby from you and Ivyari's youngest son.""Then how come after that I got pregnant again and carried his son?""Xander brought your dying and badly injured body to me. He cried and said that he was very sorry

One month later...I thought it was time for me to pick myself up and stop mourning. After a discussion with Archer and Calya, I decided to start my new journey.Without taking Leonidas with me, of course. Because I knew the road before me was a winding road full of dangers. And I could not possibly put his life in danger, Leonidas' safety was everything to me.So from today I leave Leonidas under the supervision and care of Calya, Archer and Uncle.I know that leaving Leonidas behind will not be easy. And I know that my heart will bleed every time I look into those beautiful eyes of his, the exact same eyes of the late Xander."Are you sure you're going to do it?" asked Archer, looking at me compassionately.I nodded, and tried to swallow the pain that continued to gnaw at me."I'm very sure, I'll do it.""Xevia, you know it won't be easy for you. To reach your goal you must find the whereabouts of the Alpha who trained your father. Just so you know, the forest that uncle mentioned i

"Mum, take it easy," Alarick tried to calm his mother, who had been emotionally explosive for several days."Calm down? How can you ask me to calm down at a time like this?" Lourve shouted back at her son."Yes, I'm asking you to calm down, because I'm sure I can fix everything.""Everything? Are you sure you can clean up all this mess?" The image of the man who closely resembled the photo of Xevia's late father disappeared after saying those words. It was a message about Xevia having to take care of herself because the mission she was on was not an easy one. The mission required her to kill someone. A good person who would be able to do something for their country even if it wasn't in the way they had imagined it to be at that time. She didn’t think anyone had expected her to succeed so soon. But, as a member of the Special Task Force and the commander of the second team, she was supposed to have more resources than anyone else present. Her abilities were already remarkable enough to make people look up to her, and when she took on this mission without being fully briefed… it made them realize how much of a problem she really was. She hadn't wanted to come back. Not until she had seen what the world had become. But now, she was here, in the middle of the enemy. And she was going to go through with this. She coul

Xevia ran through the dark forest, trying to avoid the pursuing old wolf behind her. Her bare feet made no sound on the damp mossy ground, but she knew that the big wolf was gaining steadily on her with every step she took. She’d been running since the sun went down; all of yesterday. The woods around them were thick and dense, a place that could hide anything. Even though it was dark now, she could still see the huge tree trunks in every direction, some almost twice as tall as a human being. Their branches spread out overhead, blocking off everything else and offering shelter from the cold autumn night wind. They were also too far away for her to make any noise, but still close enough that if Xevia stopped. After feeling a little safe, Xevia transformed herself into a wolf so that she could defeat the old alpha behind her. In her conscious state, she could feel how her body turned into a wolf with a tail of fire. With the animalistic strength born of pure instinct, she slashed at the

A beautiful full moon night. Xevia and the old alpha stood at the edge of the ravine looking up at the sky. "Soon it will be time..." said the old man.At exactly midnight, Xevia would transform into a wolf. It had been a week now that she'd learned to control her transformations. "Yes." She agreed. The old man was one of the few who knew that she'd become this way before... when her father had left. She had been raised by a kind beta woman, but the old man had insisted on taking care of her. He didn't know the truth about her origins though. He couldn't understand what the pack did. And he never would, until he saw it with his own eyes. The old man looked at her carefully as if trying to judge whether or not he could trust her. His golden eyes were warm, even through the dark. He was an older male werewolf of average height with white hair and wrinkles around his eyes and mouth. He was wearing some sort of military uniform. He smiled softly, "You're ready then, are you?" he aske

Today, a gloomy day, the sky is filled with clouds and the wind is blowing hard. The sun has hidden itself behind the thick cover of gray that covers the whole earth, making it as dark as night and as quiet as the grave. It’s not unusual, the world is changing fast and the weather will get worse soon, but it's still gloomy and she know why it is that it is so dark out now, it's raining. She can feel it too when she look at the grey sky and even though it is raining hard. The old alpha, who did not want to give his name, asked Xevia to follow him. "Sir, where are you taking me?"The old man crossed his index finger in front of his lips to signal Xevia to be quiet. He stopped walking then looked around for some time before he turned to face her again. "Follow," he replied softly and walked away from where they were standing just moments ago. She had no choice but to follow, though it felt like an invisible force held her back. But when Xeveia opened her mouth to ask what is going on s

Xevia looked at the old man whom Alisha called grandfather while paying close attention."Who are you? And how did you find this remote place?" The old man frowned in astonishment. The place where he lived was not a place easily accessible to ordinary people. And it could not be found by humans. So it was certain that only the descendants of lycans and wolves could find this place."I-"Xevia walked up to the old man."I am the daughter of Lorenzo Farkass." She replied in a calm tone. Then she looked down at her hands for a moment before looking back up again and smiling warmly at him."My name is Xevia. It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance."The old man stared at Xevia with wide eyes for a moment before his expression shifted into that of an amused smile."Lorenzo Farkass did you say? You must be joking!""Do you know my father?" Xevia said curiously."Yes. I knew your dad. He was a very talented man." The old man nodded. "But, I didn't know that he had a daughter?""It's a l

After her encounter with alpha Roman, as well as several other alphas who are known as one of the most powerful and trained alphas, Xevia finally continued her journey. Of course, after getting some clues from Beta Siege about where she should look for the whereabouts of the old alpha who trained her father to become the strongest warrior.Xevia deliberately asked for help from these alphas, she needed support because if it came to Luciad and Ivyari stepping in to fight her then she needed reinforcements so that her intention to take revenge and destroy them could be carried out.Xevia knew it would not be easy, but she had promised herself that she would not give up.She promised to give a better life to Leon and everyone who believed in her."Alpha Roman, uncle Siege, thank you for receiving me so well.
