Hey my little love bug

Miss you and bit upset about our date being missed, but I understand. Hayley needs you right now and I know you’ll be able to make her feel better. I hope you guys are enjoying your weekend and Lacy isn’t too irresponsible. Remember to wear lots of sunscreen and don’t drink too much.

By the way, Jackson saw Hayley by the frat party two weeks ago and he just wants to check if she’s okay. Says she was really intoxicated and disappeared halfway through the night with some random guy. If she doesn’t get better I think you guys need to take her to the doctor maybe?

I love you so, so much and we’ll go out Tuesday after your exam. Get some Tasaki’s and just enjoy the evening together.

Davey

Liam’s POV

“Hey chief, um – not to be rude but why did we capture those girls? They seem like a handful?” Chris asked as he took a seat in front of me. I sighed, running a hand through my hair.

“Just precaution”

“But chief, they don’t know anything. Wouldn’t this get us in some major trouble? These girls have families and other friends. Won’t they-“

“The one is pregnant” I groaned, my head falling onto my desk, “She’s the human girl I slept with at the party”

“Then it can’t be yours Liam” Mason said, “She’s a human”

“She says it’s mine” I sighed, leaning back in my chair, catching my friend’s eyes. Both of them were looking at me sceptically and I could practically see those wheels turning in their head.

“She’s lying then” Chris said, “She’s probably just some slut who needs a dad now”

My mind flickered to the slap she had given me when I had called her that name and I couldn’t help my face from forming into a grin – weird as hell – and made my friends look at me as if I was a freak.

“I don’t think so but even if she is, I’m stuck with this shit now”

“It can’t be your baby Liam, it’s not possible” Chris tried but I just shook my head, “try telling them that” I groaned.

“Okay, but what’s your plan then?” Mason asked, folding his arms.

“I don’t know, we have to keep them here. That’s all I know. If – by some chance – that baby is mine, it’s too dangerous to just let the girls go”

Mason nodded, his eyebrows knitting together. He was thinking, thinking of a plan. Thank goodness I had him here…

“Well, we can’t just keep the girls around here. The pack will ask questions” Chris mentioned which made me have an even bigger headache.

“Then we’ll think of something” Mason responded and just then we heard footsteps, “And hopefully soon because they’re trying to leave again”

We all sighed, getting up from our seats.

Hailstorm’s POV

This time, when we were “captured” again, we were all taken to my room. Still thrown on the bed with angry guys starring at us, but we were luckily all together now.

“Seriously!? Just let us go!” Lacy snapped, glaring at the man in front of her. He had grey eyes which looked really cool with his chocolate skin. One would almost forget he was crazy.

“Sorry love, that isn’t going to happen” the blonde one said, looking over at Lacy, breaking his eye contact with Kira.

“Do NOT call her love” Kira snapped, his attention back on her which made her gulp.

“Then what should I call her?” he smiled, his mouth forming a half smirk that made Kira’s cheeks go a slight pink, “More importantly, what should I call you”

At that Kira’s eyes widened, her mouth parting.

“Chris, stop it” Liam sighed, looking over at the blonde.

“Just having some fun chief” he grinned.

“Okay, so – let’s introduce ourselves and then we can go from there” the other guy said, looking over at his friends.

Liam nodded, “Liam Taylor and that’s Mason Johnson (he pointed to the one in front of Lacy, she looking at him as if she was about to kick him really hard. He was the only one who hadn’t let us go when we were thrown on the bed, his hand latched around her wrist), and Christopher Matthews” the blonde one waved as a joke, kind of reminding me of something Lacy will do.

“Your turn” Liam said, his eyes sucking mine in. Damn, they were nice, like hot chocolate and every warm thing out there you needed on a cold day.

“Thanks for the names but we’re not telling you anything” Lacy said, breaking the silence.

Liam groaned, his hands suddenly latching around my wrists. I was pulled up, his arm around my neck in mere seconds.

Kira let out a gasp, tears fogging up her eyes.

“I’m not going to hurt her, calm down!” Liam snapped, “Jeez, Hayley - names?”

I opened my mouth, ready to respond to the asshole but just then, nausea took control of my body. I shoved Liam’s arm away from me, running to the attached bathroom. I heard footsteps rushing to me but was too preoccupied with vomiting my guts out. Hands lifted up my hair, they feeling nice as they combed through it.

“You alright?” his voice came which made me spin around. Which was a really bad choice because the waves kept coming. I nodded, turning back to the toilet.

“Let us just see if she’s okay!?” I heard Kira’s voice thought Mason wasn’t having it, “She’s fine, Liam is with her”

“Yeah – as if he’s going to help her!” I heard Lacy snap.

“Your friends are really something, aren’t they?” Liam said.

“Shut up” I managed to say before I puked again.

Mason head ducked into the bathroom, his face scrunching up, “Chief, is everything okay?”

“Fine”

It took me another five minutes before I started to feel better. I sat up, flushing the toilet before a glass of water came in my vision.

“Thanks” I grumbled, taking it from him. I gulped it down, ready to get up but Liam’s arms surrounded my body, lifting me off the ground to my feet.

“You’re going to make me puke again” I snapped, moving past him back to the room. When I came in I saw Kira being held by Chris, his arms surrounding her waist. Tears were streaming down her face and she looked as uncomfortable as can be. Lacy was trying to break free of Mason’s iron grip, both of her wrists in his hands.

When they saw me, they were released and rushed towards me.

“Jerks!” Lacy snapped, enveloping me in a hug.

Mason sighed, ready to say something but Liam spoke up, “We’re going to get you guys some food. Stay here or you’re not getting any. We can talk when I return”

XXX

Liam’s POV

“That blonde girl – I swear I am going to hit her” Mason groaned as he got out the bread.

“Sure you are” Chris grinned, starting to fry the burger patties.

“She almost kicked me where no person wants to be kicked!?”

“Yeah, you’d rather have her hands there, huh?”

“I’ll throw this knife at you Chris” Mason growled, holding up the bread knife. Chris held his hands up in defence, still laughing.

I watched the two, Mason being completely different to Chris. Yet they were still best friends. Sighing, I started cutting up the lettuce, feeling completely useless.

“What are we going to say to them?” Mason asked, looking up at me.

“I’m thinking of something” I answered, “Chris – will you deal with the troops today?”

“No problem” the man said, “Need to teach those idiots a lesson in any case”

“Thanks, I just can’t deal with them at the moment”

Chris nodded, handing the fried meet to Mason who placed them on the bread. I handed them the rest of the things, letting Mason make the actual food. We headed back to the room, glad to see that the girls were all still there. They were sitting on the bed and upon us coming in, moved closer to each other.

“Here” Mason said, handing the cardigan-girl her food. She thanked him but was hesitant to eat.

“We didn’t poison it love” he said, folding his arms.

“Don’t call me love” she snapped, glaring at Mason.

“You tell them Killer” the blonde one said.

“Killer huh?” I said, smirking, “She doesn’t look that threatening”

“She’s holding back” Hayley snapped, taking a bite from the burger, “Now, what’s going on here?”

“We kidnapped you” I sighed, getting ready for the blonde one to tune the life out of me. But instead, the response was silence. I looked over at the girl, her mouth clasped shut by Mason’s hand.

“Watch out” I started to say but he quickly retracted his hand, “They bite”

“Why you!” he said, but cardigan-girl moved herself in front of my angered friend.

“Leave her alone” she hissed, her nickname becoming clear.

“Why are you so flipping annoying!?” Mason growled, glaring at the blonde girl.

Her eyes were wide, the attitude having completely disappeared.

Mason’s anger faded, his features changing, “I’m sorry” he mumbled softly, turning away from the girls.

“Okay, so we kidnapped you” I tried again, “Sorry for that, but it’s for your own safety?”

“Safety!?” Hayley said, her eyes wide, “We don’t know you guys? Kidnapping isn’t safe!”

“If you’re carrying my child, it is safe!”

Hayley sucked in her breath, her lips a thin line. Her eyes were filled with anger, and her cheeks were a bright red.

“How long?” Killer asked, catching my attention.

“Depends” Mason answered, his eyes on the blonde girl. Mason was quick to become angry thought his regret was always bigger. This was evident now as his eyes were locked on the girl.

“On what?” the girl asked, her eyes back to blazing.

“The baby” I responded, “Look, it’s all very complicated but that is my child. And that means, it’s under my protection now?”

“You know I’m not useless right? I can take care of it”

“What do you do?”

“What do you mean?” she asked.

“What’s your job?”

“I’m a paramedic student…”

“So, you’re planning to raise our child in a dorm?”

She opened her mouth to say something but I talked over her, “See you need me”

“O and what do you do Mr. Big shot?” she snapped, her hands over the stomach once again.

“I’m the head trainer at a… base camp?”

“Base camp? So like an army person? You took us to an army camp!? How is that safer than a dorm!?”

“There’s a whole army to protect you!” I glared, not understanding this girl’s logic.

“You’re crazy! Let us go! I am NOT staying on an army base where I can be blown to smithereens just because you think it’s ‘safer’!”

“Hailstorm, calm down hun” Killer said, placing a hand on the girl’s shoulder, “Let’s just speak about this calmly”

Hayley let out a sigh, but didn’t say anything.

“Is this really an army camp?” the blonde one asked, finally speaking.

“Kind of – it’s a training camp” Mason responded.

“Are we in danger of being – as Hailstorm said – blown to smithereens?”

Mason shook his head, “We’re perfectly safe”

“See Hailstorm – safe”

“Except these guys are lunatics!” the girl huffed, “I don’t want to be here!”

Tears sprung from her eyes and a moment later, she was fully crying. My eyes widened, not knowing what to do. I wanted to comfort her but she’d probably hit me or get one of her sidekicks to do it. They surrounded her, giving her comfort. Killer looked at me before turning to her friends, “Lace, I’ll talk to them okay?”

Lace nodded, and I watched as Killer got off of the bed.

“Can we speak outside?” she asked, looking at me and Mason.

Both us nodded, letting the girl that so far, we had seen as the complete opposite of a leader, lead us outside.

“Okay. So – I get this is for our safety but I just… you guys need to understand this is still very scary to us? We’re just twenty years old and were just planning a fun weekend. Now we’re kidnapped and stuck with three guys that we still think, are pretty much going to kill us”

“We won’t kill you” Mason said, folding his arms, “Like Liam said, this is for protection”

“Wouldn’t it be easier if you just – I don’t know – let us go and come through to see your baby and the process it makes? It might not seem like it, but Hayley is actually very responsible”

“No”

“But-“

“Listen, I know you’re trying to protect your friend and all that, but that’s not going to work for me. End of discussion. You guys can meet the troops tomorrow” I said, tired of talking, “I am NOT letting you guys go”

“This isn’t really a discussion” the girl said, folding her arms.

“Doesn’t matter, you’re stuck here Killer” I said, opening the door and lightly shoving her back in.
