I looked at Jeanne panicked while she too seemed stunned. How come our mother was on the verge of death from cancer?

" What is this story? Hey explain yourself"

Jeanne growled as Amanda frowned at her governess, who lowered her head guiltily before looking at us.

“Please come in please”

I looked at my sister who was now scowling, it seemed like what just happened was troubling her more than she wanted to and she decided to find out more. Just like me too. I want to know what's going on.

We entered the large house and took our seats in the private lounge. The servants came to serve us drinks and some treats, but we weren't in the mood for that. She had to explain this terminal cancer story to us.
