The rest of the route went fairly calmly. I tried to glance at Michael who seemed so pensive. Was it because of Aden's message? What was he thinking?

I don't like how this simple message could have made Michaël like this, I don't like to see him like that. He even left the macaroons that I bought him and just stared outside with his face in hand and his gaze distant.

I pursed my lips before sighing loudly. This caught his attention and he turned to look at me.

“A problem Emma? »

I nodded and he almost pounced on me asking what's up.

I quickly wrote giving him the paper.

I wrote again and this time his face went cold and he did not respond directly.

He sighed before looking at me.
