My jaw dropped in shock as I remained pinned to the wall, feeling like the whole world had gone silent at his words.

“Wh..what?” I exclaimed as I tried to push him away, but this time, he seemed to know this was coming so he held me tighter to the wall as he stared at me, like he was searching deep into my soul for something.
