Wesley asked me out on a date, the moment I was about to leave his car. I said yes and now he can't stop staring, as we both sit in the living room, listening to Aiden lecture us about safety and how important it is, for Wesley to bring me home back in time.

I think Aiden has lost himself in his lecture, and is enjoying acting as the parent right now, a little way too much.

I turn to look at Wesley, who's still staring. He looks almost dumbstruck.

" Are you guys even listening to me?" Aiden says.

" Yeah, she's so beautiful." Wesley mumbles, his eyes still transfixed on me.

I raise my brow at what he's just said. I don't think he realizes that he spoke out loud.
