CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

After driving for at least an hour and a half, we finally stopped in front of the beach. The three of us got off the car, and the sea breeze blew gently.

I started to scan the area and was momentarily stunned. The sands were white, and the beach was clean. Upon closer look, i began to see that we were at a small bay. The sunlight reflected against the water, creating a dazzling glare. The seawater was sparkling.

It was also a plus that the beach wasn’t at all crowded, which made it easy to wander around.

Alexander, who looked at the scene in front of him in awe and excitement, wasn’t able to stop the squeal that left his lips as he ran forward. He stopped just as he reached the water, and the wave rolled to his feet. He takes a step back, with his eyes widened in surprise as he tuned to look at us before racing back to where we stood, grabbing a hold of both Giovanni and mine hands, and the three of us race to the water, with Alexander and I squealing.
