CHAPTER SEVENTY SIX

ROY'S POV

“Are we there yet?” I ask again for the thousands of hours while still taking in the scenery.

Giovanni chuckles at my question, amused by my curiosity. “ Almost.” He says he is still not going into details as to where he was taking me.

He had only told me he wanted to show me something but wouldn’t tell me what it was, despite the fact that we had been driving for at least two hours.

We travelled further until we arrived in front of a mansion. The view was breath-taking. I couldn’t stop gazing at the castle-like estate as we pulled up to the house and entered the foyer.

We both got out of the car, making our way into the house, and I was once again blown away by the view of the living room. It was beyond lovely. Floor-to-ceiling windows were present. The fireplace and the wall both convey grandeur.

“Why are we here?” I ask before I get carried away by my own fantasy.
