CHAPTER FORTY EIGHT

As we stepped outside, the valet was getting out of Giovanni's car.

He nodded to Giovanni, who took the keys from him and opened my door for me to get in.

Giovanni did the same as well, getting in at the driver’s seat before speeding off, going to our next stop, and we both got back in the car.

After five minutes, we came to a small but busy parking lot. There was a small structure with a sign that read "REALE" in vivid pink lettering.

"It smells really good," I exclaimed as I got out of the car.

"And it certainly does taste better," he said, grinning at me and taking my hand as he led the way inside the building.

We walked in and there was soft music playing in the background, with people talking over it. No one seemed to be looking at us.

"Sir!” As soon as we entered, one of the staff members said, “I was unaware that you would be visiting us tonight.” He had a smile on his lips, but horror had spread across his wide eyes.

Giovanni whispers to him, "The usual," and the man gulps a
