I AM NOT ALONE

Ethan's POV

I saw Emma sleeping on the couch. So I walked to her. I run my hand through her hair. And she woke up.

"You missed me?" I teased.

She hugged me. Cupped my cheeks, Kissed me and sympathised with me. She tried to console me. Somehow it worked.

"Albert told me you called him. Thanks.". Come. Let's get a good night's rest. We shall talk tomorrow"

I held her hand as we walked upstairs.

Emma went back to sleep. I couldn't get a sleep. So many thoughts filled my mind. The thought of Elisa asking for her share of property. The thought of the fact that I just lost my grandfather. And, the thought of being all alone is hurting me.

Then, I turned to my beautiful woman who was sleeping peacefully. I tucked some strands of her hair that covered her face to the back of her ear. She moved her body and buried her head in my chest. I smiled. For a minute. Looking at her made me forget all my worries.
