"Anne." Saira gasped and pulled away from Ethan. "I'm sorry for... interrupting." She apologized blushing beet root red. "Excuse me." She slipped out and closed the door."What have we done?" Ethan stopped short when he got to the second floor and saw Daniel waiting in front of Saira's door. He leaned against the wall and crossed his ankles waiting to see if Saira would open the door for him and the door opened alright but it was Anne who met him."I'm sorry but she can't see you now." "You're going to stay in this bed until you're better." He pushed her back to lie down and wrapped her like a burrito with her duvet."I'm kinda claustrophobic." She informed him."Are you really?" After class, Ethan said good bye to his friends and promised to see them later then walked out of the building with Anne."Here." He passed her Saira's notebook. "When you get back to the hostel and she's awake, tell her I've gone to get her order, okay?""Sure." Anne nodded. "Can I go with you though? I suddenly have a craving for chicken and chips as well." Saira got to the waiting room just in time to see the doctor talking to Ethan's mom and Eugene and Daniel was behind them looking quite pleased with himself which caused Saira to frown, wondering why Daniel looked so happy but she was more concerned about what the doctor was saying and didn't bother contemplating on Daniel's weird behavior. She'd been lucky enough to get through the crowd of female students waiting for news outside and thankfully one of the bodyguards knew her so he let her pass, much to the chagrin of the crowd and now, here she was listening with bated breath to the doctor's explanation of the injuries Ethan suffered.It was as gruesome as Raphael claimed."He's in a critical condition right now and he needs to have another blood transfusion." Saira trudged up the stairs to her hostel room feeling very exhausted. Her relationship with Ethan had caused Daniel to become a criminal overnight and Ethan... thankfully was still holding on.He'd flatlined but the doctors were able to bring him back so she was hoping that God had heard her prayers and was planning to wake him up soon because she wasn't sure what she'd do if he died.She unlocked the door, went in and closed it gently then crossed the latch and locked it back again.
