Chapter Three

Ethan slowly turned to look at Darina's approaching figure and winced when he saw her how angry she was. She was all red in the face and her fists were clenched.

One of her posses scurrying behind her carried her tote bag for her and another had a cup of something in her hand. They all looked ridiculous.

"Heey Dar." He greeted, emphasizing on the 'hey'. "Long time no see."

"One week! One week Ethan and you're already hopping from one slut's bed to another!" She poked his chest with her finger as she spoke. "Are you so addicted that you can't keep it in your pants for the time being?!"

"Breathe Dar, you're embarrassing yourself." He told her. "If you pass out, I won't carry you anywhere."

Darina took a deep breath and let it out. "I'm willing to take you back even after all your misdeeds Ethan." She informed him calmly. "I love you, so I'll forgive you."

"What are you talking about?" Ethan arched a brow.

Darina looked confused. "Wasn't all that shenanigans because you wanted my attention? Well, now you've got it."

Ethan threw back his head and laughed. "You're funny Dar. I thought you were meant to still be in the hospital?"

"How do you know that?"

"Er... My family owns the hospital?" He replied in a duh tone.

"Whatever." She said dismissively. "I'll take you back."

"Don't you get it? I don't want to be taken back." Ethan said. "We're done forever Darina."

"That's a lie!" Darina hissed. "Stop deceiving yourself Ethan. You love me too but you're trying to deny it."

"No, you need to stop deceiving yourself." Ethan countered. "I don't love you Darina, I never have and never will. I don't even like you right now."

Darina gasped. "You won't ever love me?"

"It will be a waste of my time and yours if I pretend to love you cos… I'll cheat on you time and time again and the cycle will continue until I find who I'm looking for." He said. "It's definitely not you."

Darina felt a tear drop and she hastily wiped it away. "I see." She muttered. "So who's this girl that you're..."looking" for?" She air quoted the word. 

"I don't know." Ethan shook his head. "I might never find her and if I don't, I will never settle for less."

"You wound me Ethan." Darina rubbed her chest.

"This is as honest as I can get." He replied sincerely. "You're a beautiful girl and I'm sure there are guys vying for your attention. I mean you're Darina Walter... you shouldn't waste your youth on me."

"It's you I love Ethan!" Darina screamed in frustration and gripped his shirt. "I've been in love with you since we were five! Five Ethan!"

"Control yourself Darina." Ethan ordered. 

"No! I don't want anyone else!" She tried to shake some sense into him but he was immovable.

Ethan cursed and pried her fingers from his shirt front then gripped her wrist tightly and dragged her out of the cafeteria. He continued towards the parking lot and when he got to his car, unlocked it and opened the door then pushed her in.

"I'm taking you back to the hospital." He fastened her seatbelt forcefully when she tried to get out and leveled her with a searing look. "Don't move." He slammed the door, rounded the hood and got in behind the wheel.

Darina unfastened her seatbelt, moved over the console and onto his lap then crushed her mouth to his before he could react.

Ethan yanked his mouth from hers angrily and glared at her. "What the hell? Are you sixteen?"

Darina grabbed the back of his head and locked her mouth to his again and after a few seconds of hesitation from him, he took over, devouring her mouth and then she knew she'd gotten to the beast inside of him when he ripped the buttons on her shirt and her bra followed.

"Yes!" She hissed as he bent his head and sucked one nipple into his mouth then the other hungrily. "Yes Ethan."

"Damn you." He growled as his mouth returned to hers and before she knew what was happening, he was lifting her up one second and the next he was slamming her down on his dick causing both of them to cry out in pleasure.

Ethan tucked himself in, did his fly and buckled his belt then glared venomously at Darina who had a satisfied smile on her face as he realized that he'd let her get to him again.

"This was your plan right? Get me all riled up and then make me take you somewhere so I can fuck your brains out." He rumbled.

"Well... It really wasn't but I'm glad it worked, which means I'll do it all the time." She grinned broadly. "I know you love me and you know it too… but it's fine if you don't say it because the way you make love to me proves it."

"I don't make love Dar, I fuck." He reminded her. "You'll do well to remember that."

"Whatever you say. I still forgive you."

"Whatever. Get out of my car." He looked away.

Darina reapplied her makeup and when she was sure she didn't look like she'd just been fucked, she pulled up the sun visor and beamed at him.

"Going somewhere?"

"None of your business Dar. Out." He snarled.

"Always so grumpy." She tsked. "Guess you're not the type of man who relaxes after an hour of sweet loving."

Ethan groaned. She was so fucking annoying and he wished he could just magically make her disappear forever.

"I would kiss you but I don't want to mess up my makeup, so here." She blew him a kiss and opened the door but turned back to look at him. "Will I see you later?" She sounded hopeful.

"No." He scowled at her.

"I'll call you." She said and got out of the car then closed the door. She made a face as he sped off like a bat out of hell and realized that she'd not even heard the car engine running. "Drive safe my love." She waved at his car.

"You're finally out." One of her posses Kaisha said when she returned to the cafeteria.

"I went to check on you and heard a different sound entirely." Diana chuckled.

"Guess he gave it to you good. You look happier." Gina commented.

"I always know how to push his buttons." Darina smirked. "He can deny me his heart but not his body."

"What did he mean about looking for someone who's not you?" Kaisha inquired.

"Bullshit. If Ethan is going to marry anybody in this world, it's going to be me." Darina told them in a confident tone. "We're destined to be together."

"Hmmn, Mrs Destiny." Gina teased.

"He looked quite serious though." Diana mused.

"As from today, I'm not taking anything that Ethan tells me serious because I know he'll say one thing and do another." Darina snorted. "He's all mine and as for that scatterbrained Amanda, I'll teach her a lesson never to take what doesn't belong to her."

"Tell us what you want and it's done." Kaisha said.

Saira sat on Daniel's bed in the boys hostel reading for her economics test tomorrow when he walked in and the aroma of Domino's Pizza wafted through the air causing her mouth to water.

"I come back bearing gifts." He raised the pizza and a polythene bag filled with ice cream containers and two soft drinks. "Will these draw your attention away from your books?"

"Partially." She grinned and sat up. "I was just thinking of cajoling my mom into ordering us pizza for dinner tonight."

He set the items on his reading table and went to get two plates from his kitchenette. As per being a member of the wealthiest family in the country, he'd been assigned a room all to himself in the new boys hostel that was built last year by Delnoi foundation and it came with a kitchenette so he was free to cook whatever he wanted if he didn't feel like eating school food.

He plated her pizza then walked over to hand it to her with a bottle of sprite.

"You know me so well." She laughed. "Thanks."

Daniel plated his and went to join her on the bed. They ate in silence for awhile before Daniel decided to break it with the news of his step brother's ex girlfriend's tantrum in the cafeteria.

"So, word is that Darina made a scene in front of the whole student body in the cafeteria professing her love for Ethan and he unfortunately turned her down." Daniel told her.

"Are you serious?" Saira wasn't surprised. She'd witnessed one too many times that same scene.

"It's on the internet." Daniel took out his phone and messed with it then played the video and passed the phone to her.

Saira's eyes widened when Darina gripped the front of Ethan's shirt attempting to shake him but he wasn't even swayed and then the video ended where Ethan dragged Darina out of the cafeteria.

"Where did he take her?"

"Either to his hostel to fuck her brains out or they did it in his car." Daniel shrugged.

"Ew. TMI Daniel." She made a face.

"Sorry." He apologized. "But that's how it has been between them for years."

"I doubt if someone like him will ever settle down." Saira said. "Darina claims to love him but her love for him is definitely on the surface. The type of love that'd capture the heart of someone like Ethan Delnoi would be...unadulterated."

"That was deep." Daniel mused. "You're right though. That kind of love is rare. It's an eternal love. Where will he find that kind of love? Certainly not in this lifetime."
