With a deep sigh, I anxiously ran my hands over my hair, devastated at the situation that I might not have any control over anymore.

Where did it go wrong? How did it end up like this?

The door suddenly opened. The person whom I already expected to see today but did not have the will to see or talk with, strode inside my office comfortably.

“You did the right thing.” Cassie started, which only made me sigh in frustration.

Ever since she came back from Russia and was done with her mental treatment, she changed drastically.
