Surprise

“Do you think he would keep his threats, Isabella?” Kim asked.

Isabella, being in a state of dilemma, didn't know whether she should take his words seriously or ignore him like she always did. Her face and atmosphere being sullen. Kim thought of the best thing to do or say to brighten up her friend's mood.

To lighten up the soured atmosphere, Kim brought up the discussion of Isabella's happy mood earlier.

“Isa, why were you so happy earlier today when I called,” Kim asked curiously.

“Oh, yes. Can you believe that David introduced me as his finance to his friend today? I was so happy when he said that. I didn't expect that,” Isabella voiced her sullen mood washing away and being covered with a small smile.

“Wow, I can see where this is heading to. I'm seriously happy for you. I can't wait to see you walk down the aisle with David,” Kim cheered.

They talked at length while going back to the office, the happy moments of David and Isabella filled the lips until they departed.
