Owen’s POV My heart is beating frantically as we head back to the hotel. I don't know how heartbroken I will be when I see the mark around her neck. It's going to crash me, I'm sure, I knew it would happen someday but I always thought we would be able to do it together. I hold my breath as Rowan and me come back to the hotel. Finding Ruby asleep in Damien's arms breaks me. She looks so peaceful, she is covered up to the neck, so I can't really tell if he marked her. Rowan looks devastated as well, he just takes a seat watching them without a word. His expression is so distant, his lower eyelid pencil smudged a little. I've never seen him looking so down. I want to comfort him, but I can't. I feel broken, I take a seat next to him and take a deep breath. This life is hard, but I can't go away from her. What will happen to me if she casts me away? She starts tossing and Damien pulls her towards him even closer. I feel as if my heart is being ripped into two. “I need to pee.”

Damien’s POV Her words make me so scared, I hurriedly scoop her off the ground and literally run upstairs since we are in the underground parking lot. Ruby’s POV “Finally you are awake gorgeous.” I wake up to a strange voice. Maybe I'm still at the hospital. Ouch! My head hurts, I slowly open my eyes and a rush of cold air strikes me. I’m sleeping on something hard that my whole body hurts. It takes a while for my eyes to finally focus because the place seems quite dark. Ruby I have been tossing and turning on my bed ever since I got home. Everything seems like a dream.But how can it be a dream when I am craving them like food. Zama had to lie to my mother that I had too much to drink, but my mother’s look was suspicious, though she didn’t ask. I will just explain later when I come down. Hours and hours pass without closing my eyes a wink, I don’t how, but I manage to finnaly get some sleep. Every time that I manage some sleep, I am woken up by three pairs of eyes looking at me, all my dreams are now centered around them, but this time around I am woken up by the smell of wild fruit, it’s heavenly. My room is pitch dark, and my whole body is in sweat. I feel someone's presence right next to me, weirdly I don't feel afraid. I couldn't sleep, I kept thinking of why my mum was horrified that I was mated to three men. I also kept wondering how I would be able to handle them all. Part of me was really afraid and part of me couldn't really believe that all the three gorgeous and powerful men were all mine. Owen, Damien and Rowan, perfect names, perfect everything. I mean, the moon goddess must have taken extra time to create them because they aren’t just cute, they are perfect. What I don't know is their personalities though. Owen has the most deep ruby eyes I have ever seen. He has this dead look in his eyes that makes him look fierce yet sexy at the same time. His hair is pitch black, and so long. He wears it wavy, and I have seen it in a ponytail; it all looks divine. He is so tall compared to the three of them, and also the hugest of them. If ‘hugest’ is ever a word. I just cannot find the right words to describe him. He has these muscles that he doesn’t even sweat to show them off, they are just there.

Ruby. 'Hey beautiful.' I am woken up by the most amazing female voice. That's not Zama, I open my eyes, slowly, adjusting to the sudden light that's almost blinding me.
