They soon got there, with their car pulling to a halt in front of a large building. The first thing Lily saw was her father and brother entering inside with the reporters following them.

Is she your replacement for Miss Clara?Were you ever in love with Miss Clara?Was it a plot to get rid of Clara ? The reporters asked, 

At some point, Christian stopped walking, he held Lily's hands, looking at her with love and affection in his eyes and then to the crowd. 

"This is Lily, my wife, not a plot or a mistress, and you better respect that. Does that answer your question? " he asked, glaring at them.

" Oh Lily darling" Christian Mother Ashley called immediately sighting her. She had been in the house and had seen how Lily had been suffering at the hands of Christian. Although she is angry at her son, she also loves how the girl endured it and still smiled no matter what.
