“Is she awake?” I heard a shrill voice as I opened my eyes lazily, my whole body was dead-drop tired. I felt like I had been beaten all night but remembering the hand-like claw, I opened my eyes immediately, sitting up and to my surprise, Alpha Louis, Ella and Viola were watching me with disgusted eyes.

I shrunk back with fear, terrified of what they would do to me. My legs were aching really bad and my head felt like it could drop at any moment.

“Yesterday I remember you calling me your mate and today you’re in the bed of another man, how cheap. It was a good thing to reject you” Alpha Louis spat out with a lot of disgust and I could see anger in Ella’s eyes.

“Who was the man you threw yourself cheaply at? Did rejection hurt so much that you needed to be in the arms of another man desperately? If there was any word lower than cheap then it’ll surely be your name” Viola insulted and tears began to flow out of my eyes.

I wasn’t crying because I had been caught but because I didn’t know the stranger, he was nowhere to be found and now I looked like a complete slut.

“What punishment do you think you deserve? If people see this, what would they think? You’re so cheap and disgusting, you’re no better than a pig. I would have called you a dog but a dog is cleaner and stronger than you!” Ella spat out more tears rolled down my cheek.

Their words kept echoing in my head, I felt ashamed of myself for what I had just done. My heart felt so tight that breathing began to be very difficult.

“Take her away” Alpha Louis ordered and I slumped back on the bed, fear engulfing me.

The guards came inside and dragged me out, giving me the privilege of using the duvet to cover myself. I was thrown into the pack prison and the tears dropped out of my eyes as I began to think about my fate.

Alpha Louis was one scary person, he didn’t care about anyone but himself and never hesitated to torture anyone. He derived pleasure from the screams of someone suffering.

My miserable life flashed before my eyes as I waited for death but then I wouldn’t be getting a peaceful one, I would be getting the most brutal death. I would writhe in pain and plead for mercy.

The door opened and Alpha Louis walked inside, a smirk on his face as he walked towards me as I pressed myself to the wall, wishing I could force myself inside and be sealed there forever.

My whole body felt sore but I was willing to endure the pain if it meant being able to enter the wall, being away from his callous and evil gaze.

His squinted eyes were slowly accessing my body. He crunched to my level and I began to wonder whether he would slap me.

“Not a bad thing that you just got touched by another man after proclaiming me your mate. I should find you dirty but I’m willing to make your life easy. Do you want to live a good and happy life in this pack?” He demanded with a sly smile and my heart began to beat very fast, whatever it was, it wouldn’t be anything good.

There was something crazy about his gaze, his eyelids were partly conceded and he looked at my body with a shrewd smile. I felt my skin shrink and my heart pound very hard under his gaze.

I began shaking my head slightly and anger flashed in his eyes and I nodded immediately and then he placed a hand on my arm, tracing a line down to my finger making me shudder with terror. His idea of a happy life might be more dangerous than being torn to pieces by rogues.

“I can change your life in this pack. Without your mate, you’re nothing and I’m your mate. I’m your mate, you should obey every of my commands and I know what’s best for you. You should be my mistress, you’re not worthy of being beside me with your filthy body, who knows whether it was a dirty, weed-addicted and jobless drunk who touched you, it would benefit you a lot. You wouldn’t be a nobody who has to wash dishes and run errands, countless girls would envy you” He offered with a devilish grin and my eyes widened.

He didn’t want me as his mate but as his slut. He wanted to make me into a toy he would use to satisfy himself and toss to the side.

“What do you say? My offer is too good for a slut like you right?” He demanded with his brows raised and I shook her head.

I gazed at him with vigour, silently telling him that I’d rather die than let him lay a finger on me. My eyes held disgust and even though I was trembling slightly, I was determined never to use my body as a means of survival. If death was what I deserved, I would gladly accept my fate.

“What?” His eyes were blazing with fury and his fangs protruding. He wanted to hit me but dropped his hand, it was like he was controlling his anger. I was partially shocked as I was expecting all hell to let loose.

There was no way I could accept his proposal, he was openly asking me to be a toy, he didn’t conceal the fact that I was valued for nothing more than sex and even though I lost my dignity most disgustingly, I would still hold myself in high esteem. I wouldn’t just offer myself to anybody, especially to a mate who plainly rejected me and is willing to use me for pleasure and another woman as his mate.

“I… I can’t” I whispered, sobbing softly and his expression changed. He looked deeply hurt and furious. His nose was flaring as his face went dark. 

“You’ll regret this,” He spat out as he grabbed my hair.

“Argh!” I yelled with tears streaming down my cheek. The pain was nothing compared to that in my heart. My heart was in turbulence as I thought about how miserable my life would become. The suffering of before would be nothing compared to Alpha Louis’s merciless dealings.

“How dare you offer yourself cheaply to an unknown man but you’re unwilling to fuck your mate. You’re nothing but a cheap slut! You’re not worthy of being looked upon by someone as prominent as me. You would pay gravely for this and I promise you, you’ll come crawling back to me” He screeched and I just whimpered. He pushed me away and walked out angrily.

“Lock her up without food or water till I give further instructions” He ordered and I choked on a sob as tears flowed freely.

Things never got better for me, I was cursed to live an agonizing life, my parents died, I never had any wolf, I got rejected by my mate and now I’ll get killed by my mate.
