CHAPTER – 33

David pov

"Clear all the mess from that road!" I abruptly end the call and toss my phone onto the bed. Olivia is still unconscious. Rising from the chair, I grab a glass of water from the nightstand and splash it on her face. She jolts awake, gasping for air with her eyes shut tight. I furrow my brows as I take a seat in front of her.

"What happened?" she yells, but her expression shifts to a glare when she sees me. "Did you do this?" she asks, frustration evident in her voice. I nod slowly, and she huffs,

"Of course, that's a stupid question." I can't help but smirk, knowing no one has ever woken her up like this before. "What's your problem?" she demands. "Hmm, good question," I reply with a forced grin.

"My problem is you and your mess." My tone is firm, leaving her puzzled, but soon her face pales. Clearing her throat, she asks, "D-did you really kill him?" "Yes, I did, but I didn't want to," I responded. She looks at me with pity.

"I want to torture him, chop off the finger
