"How could you?..." I muttered, my lips quivering. He snickered. " Oh... I could I not? I saw a chance, and I took it." He answered." An entire family is dead because of it!! You ruined an entire family because of your greed!"
" Now, don't say it like that. You know, I'm surprised you survived the ordeal. You should have just died like the rest. But since you did, it looks like I'm going to have to end you myself." He said and stood up, heading out. I was still crying.

" Looks like I already did. I'll have to thank Ray for making it easier for me to find you before you caused any more harm." He answered, turning his head.

Ray's P. O. V I was stunned. I'm still stunned. All of it felt like imagination to me. Vera didn't just slip out of my hands, did she? I blinked rapidly and looked at my hands; she wasn't there. Vera. I'm sinking. I know I am. I'm filling up with water and it's just a matter of time before my life slips out of me. I'm glad I'll finally be able to say goodbye to this cruel world. Then suddenly, I feel a pair of hands grab me, pulling me onto the surface. The cold air hits my face, but I don't want to open my eyes. I feel myself being pulled along, but I don't react. Vera's P. O. V I woke up with a start, breathing heavily. Another nightmare. Groaning slightly, I tried to sit up. Now that I've regained my memory, I thought they'd stop coming. I was wrong.
