Chapter 34. Summer
As the heat began to rise, each summers day hotter than the last, the White family enjoyed the peace and serenity. The spent most of their days outdoors. They frequently had guests over. Soon it would be their first Christmas in their new home. They were excited. Alex and Andrea asked" how is Santa doing to drop off our presents, we have no chimney? Sarah woke up at 8am, Jacob,Alex and Andrea were still fast asleep. This was the first Christmas in so many years spent apart from each other. But I guess it was God's Plan. Jacob cooked honey glazed roasted duck, roast vegetables, garlic bread, hot crab curry and salads. Sarah was really ill and slept most of the day. Christmas came and Christmas went. They awaited their test results. Was it going to be positive?Was it going to be negative? The days just dragged on as they waited. Still in quarantine.
