Chapter 242 Do You Have a Problem?

Author: Five Generals
The slap left Vincent dumbfounded.

The others were stunned too.

Vincent introduced himself, saying that he was a member of the Hansers, a prestigious family. Why did Hunter hit him?

“I don’t think I have offended you, sir. Why did you attack me?”

Dumbstruck, Hunter covered his face and glared at Hunter angrily.

Hunter scoffed. “You didn’t offend me, but you crossed K.”

“Kaze?”

Vincent stared at Kaze in disbelief. Hunter humiliated him in public with a slap for dissing Kaze.

It did not make sense.

It was no secret that Kaze was a dimwit and a liar.

Vincent grimaced and asked angrily, “Are you fooled by the idiot, sir?”

“That’s right, sir. The dummy is the son-in-law of our family. He loves to impersonate important people to scam others. Don’t be fooled by him!”

“He pretended to be a military commander, but we saw through him.”

Deborah, Samus, and Celine backed Vincent up.

They taunted Kaze moments ago.

A heavyweight like Hunter arrived on the scene and too

“No, no. No problem at all. The car belongs to Sky.” Samus’ heart ached when he said that. Kaze said, “I want to buy my wife a Maserati Quattroporte.” “No problem.” Hunter pulled out his phone to call the manager of the Maserati showroom next door. Stuart the manager rushed over and was in a dilemma by the request. “We only have one Maserati Quattroporte available for collection now, and Ms. Deborah Quint has reserved it. She will be collecting the car today. Oh, there you are, Ms. Quint.” He spotted Deborah in the crowd. Deborah was about to speak when Kaze cut her off. “I don’t care who reserved the car, but it is now mine. I’m taking it with me,” Kaze said sternly. “I can’t believe you’re taking my car, Kaze,” Deborah yelled angrily. Kaze smiled. “That’s right. I’m taking your car. What are you going to do about it?” “Uh, you. Don’t push it, Kaze!” Deborah was livid. Hunter flicked his arm at Stuart. “The car is now Ms. Quint’s, but I’m talking about Darcy

Kaze’s slap snapped Deborah out of an angry trance. She covered her face and glared at Kaze with gritted teeth. “Don’t celebrate too soon, Kaze. Your wife is about to get it—” “Shut up, Deborah!” Vincent scowled and interrupted her. Not too long ago, Vincent and Rudy’s family conspired with Liam to oust Darcy from Quintessential Group. After days of searching, the Hansers finally located Jean’s hiding place. They had sent men to fetch the woman. With Jean back, Darcy would be kicked out of Quintessential Group. The Hansers would take over the group through Rudy’s family. Deborah was an idiot to nearly let slip this crucial information. Their efforts would be for nothing if Darcy braced herself for the takeover. “What are you plotting against my wife again?” Although Deborah did not reveal much, Kaze could tell something was amiss from Vincent’s reaction. Flustered, Deborah said angrily, “What are you talking about? I’m saying that your wife will get what’s coming

Kaze was not keen on associating with Celine. Despite her age, she was rather manipulative. As color drained from her face, Celine walked away grimacingly. Kaze looked at Celine’s back and said indifferently, “You should stay away from Celine, Sky. You’re a simple guy. You might get taken advantage of without knowing it.” “Oh. Got it, Kaze.” Sky nodded cluelessly. He had utmost trust in Kaze, so he would do no wrong by taking his advice. Celine’s eyes flickered with menace when she heard the comment. Kaze wanted to drive away with Sky without any intention of paying. Hunter promised to compensate him last night. “Someone would like to see you for a talk, K. Can you come with me?” Hunter asked. Kaze was not in a hurry to give his word. He asked, “Who is it?” “Just a veteran in the business. He’s waiting for you.” Kaze eyed Hunter, who seemed suspicious. He wanted to see what the man was up to. “Alright. I’ll meet him.” Kaze patted Sky’s shoulder. “Go and take y

Samus, Deborah, and Vincent led the way on foot. Despite their frustration, they were thrilled. Judging by the security team’s aloof and distant attitudes, they believed that these people came to mess Kaze up. Meanwhile, Hunter led Kaze outside a VIP lounge. “Wait here, K. I’ll tell them you’re here.” Hunter knocked on the door and entered the room. The lounge was spacious and luxurious. A rosy-cheeked man in his fifties sat on the leather couch, a tunic draped his frame. “I brought Kaze here, Mr. White.” Hunter nodded at the bodyguards standing by the old man before approaching with respect. It was Angel White, the Angel of Death. Anybody with association to Lilyrose underworld would know his name. Angel was the brains behind Cronus’ rise in the underworld. Two decades ago, Angel’s strategic brilliance drove Cronus to power, challenging Alan’s dominance in the underworld.Ignoring Hunter, Angel fixated his gaze on the TV screen. The video of Kaze knocking T

It did not matter whether Kaze would kill Alan. Hunter could imagine the devastating end to Kaze. The dummy was not the only one caught in the crossfire. His wife’s family, probably the entire Quint family, would be ruined. “Bring him in.” Angel grabbed the remote control and turned off the screen. Hunter turned around, opened the door, and led Kaze into the room. “Kaze, this is Mr. White. Mr. White is a respectable man in Lilyrose.” Hunter quit the term of endearment. Kaze was a dead man in his eyes. “Mr. White.” Kaze checked Angel out and chuckled. He was about to sit his ass in front of Angel. “How dare you! Who are you to sit in front of Mr. White?” The bodyguard on the left of Angel criticized Kaze angrily. Kaze turned to Angel who carried a blank expression. “Didn’t you invite me for a talk, Mr. White? Why don’t I get to sit down? I’m sure there isn’t a rule about it.” “Hmph! Don’t flatter yourself, dimwit. Mr. White summoned you. He did not invite yo

Angel pulled a long face. He looked at Kaze emotionlessly without a word. Tension rose in the VIP lounge. “How dare you, Kaze!” Hunter walked over and lectured Kaze with his finger up his nose. “It’s your honor that Mr. White wants you to work for him. Don’t be ungrateful.” Kaze glanced at Hunter. He thought Hunter was acting strange when they were at the Ferrari showroom. Sure enough, Hunter was only pretending to be respectful toward him. “I guess you didn’t learn from your mistake, Hunter.” Kaze scowled. “You didn’t act tough when you kneeled before me, slapping yourself last night.” Hunter grimaced, remembering last night’s insulting incident. “I gave in to you last night because the situation called for it, Kaze. Do you really think I’m scared of you?” Hunter looked at him in disdain. “All you are is a worthless son-in-law of the Quints. Oh, so you can fight. But you were only able to walk out of the casino alive because of Dan’s six men. Do you think I will al

Kaze struck quickly. It all happened in a flash. The whole thing was over before Angel knew it. By the time his mind caught up with what had happened, he realized he was on his knees. The crippling pain in his cheek was a humiliation he could not swallow. Angel was a long-time buddy of Cronus, helping him establish an empire in the underworld and legitimate businesses. He was one of the few elites who could stand alongside the heads of the three major families. He was a figure who commanded respect. Yet, Kaze smacked him to the ground, making him kneel. If word were to get out, Angel could never show his face. “How dare you hit me, Kaze! How dare you!” Angel yelled at Kaze furiously, his voice filled with resentment. Kaze side-eyed him and said indifferently, “Just because you are a little experienced, you think you’re better than everyone else and treat others like dirt. Don’t be surprised by others whipping some shame back in you.” He then walked out. “Get lost!”

Kaze had no worries about his safety. Even if everyone at Taurus Automobiles were to gang up on him, Kaze still would not consider them to be a risk. Still, the excuse irked him. Kaze was labeled a car thief. He would never stoop so low as to steal a car. Hunter laughed out loud. “Oh, Kaze. Why are you so stupid? Mr. White can get you killed at the snap of his fingers. We’re taking a life after all, so we need a sound excuse.“The dealership employee killed you by accident when trying to apprehend you for stealing our vehicles. It makes a good story.” He stared at Kaze smugly. “Thousands of Taurus Automobiles’ employees are after your life. You can forget walking out of here alive.” “Thousands of riff-raffs?” Kaze scoffed in contempt. He could not be bothered to get blood on his hands. He took out his phone, intending to show Angel that he could outnumber him. The Koenigsegg sports car leading the fleet of fancy cars stopped right outside the dealership. Samus, Debor

The sneers and gloating looks made Darcy’s family’s hearts sink. Hector got a call half an hour ago and learned that Phoenix had walked free after Kaze called the cops on her. Phoenix wanted Darcy’s family to come to the hospital. Hector thought that Phoenix had fallen ill. Without another word, Hector took Agnes to the hospital. Darcy and Sky had to make time out of their work and school to be there for Phoenix too. The family forgot to bring Kaze along by choice. There was no telling whether Phoenix was ill or angry with Kaze. The last thing they would do was bring Kaze along to make things worse. Outside the ward, Darcy’s family learned through the chatter that Joan, instead of Phoenix, was admitted. Joan’s hospital admission seemed to garner a lot of attention from Phoenix. Oblivious to the situation, Darcy’s family was in a daze. “Has Hector’s family arrived? Tell them to get in here!” Before Darcy’s family could get to the bottom of the matter, Phoenix’s a

Besides, the execution hall enforced the law within the Viper’s Den, putting the division in a superior position within the Viper’s Den West State Branch. The division had the power to decide whether the Viper’s Den member would live or die. The leader of the execution hall, Robin, would oversee the South River State Branch’s new branch chief and branch deputy. Hannah and Collier could not afford to let their guard down. They braced themselves to meet the man. “Marcus? Robin?” Kaze said indifferently, “I keep note of these names. The South River State Branch can’t do anything to the pair, but I am the branch leader.” “You have the power to stop them!” Collier said. Yet, Collier remained hesitant. It was true that Kaze was the Viper’s Den West State Branch leader. The Nether Viper Sword proved it. However, Kaze never officially took office. In other words, the position of the branch leader remained vacant. Collier could not understand Kaze’s delay in declaring his

He doesn’t get involved in the company operations, but he loves scouting talents to trick women. He’s worse than the man I was.” At least, Collier was aware of the type of man he used to be. Still, Kaze was not amused. Collier kept it strictly business and said somberly, “He often hangs around schools and around the mall to scout beautiful women. He has slept with many women, promising them the world.“He would be forceful with those who didn’t fall for his scheme. He would isolate them or drag them to somewhere secluded and take compromising videos of them. “Dozens of women fell victim to him over t

Joan shuddered and backed away. She said with a dreadful look, “What do you want, Kaze?” “Smack!” Kaze slapped Joan before removing his jacket to shield Sasha’s bruises. He picked her up and walked out of the store. It was not over yet. Rhys and Joan would pay heavily for what they had done. However, Sasha had gone through a lot today, so Kaze needed to take her away. Sasha needed the hospital now. As Kaze whisked Sasha away, Joan held her cheek and shouted furiously, “You’re a bastard, Kaze! How dare you hit me and my boyfriend! I’m telling on you!” Joan sure did not know when to stop. She got close to Kaze and spread her arms, preventing him from leaving. “Crack!” Keeping a blank face, Kaze fractured her arm and flung her aside. He even stomped on her scowling face. As Joan shrieked, Kaze carried Sasha out of there. The scared crowd parted to give way to Kaze and Sasha. Kaze brought Sasha into the car. “Kaze…” Sasha was placed in the front passenger sea

The helpless and despair look on Sasha’s face tugged on the crowd’s heartstrings. However, Rhys and Joan would not stop roughing her out. They were likely rich and powerful. No one had the guts to step forward and stop them. As the crowd built, Joan got a bit heavy-handed. She gritted her teeth and yelled, “Strip her! Take the dress off her!“Shame her, and she will think twice before hitting on someone else’s man.” Joan got a kick out of destroying something so beautiful. “Sasha…” Kaze elbowed through the crowd after his phone call and saw Sasha lying on the ground in despair. He grimaced hard. It never occurred to him that Sasha would endure such humiliation in the span of a phone call. A group of men and women abused her in broad daylight. The crowd watched on, some even criticizing as if things were not bad enough. Kaze was enraged. “Stop!” His angry voice silenced the crowd. Joan was stunned. She released her grip on Sasha’s hair and cocked her head ba

Sasha looked like a princess in the gown, and Joan’s jealousy drove her to start something. Caught in the act by his girlfriend, Rhys felt anxious. Since Joan put the blame on Sasha, Rhys said happily, “You’re right, Joan. The bitch seduced me. She wants to be a star through me. “She even talked about signing a contract with me at a hotel. She invited me to do whatever I wanted. “I know I can be a playboy, but since dating you, I have been saving myself for you. The bitch doesn’t fool me. “When she wouldn’t leave me alone, I got angry and attacked her.” Rhys turned the whole thing against Sasha. “You’re lying!“That’s not true!” Sasha wailed in fury. She would rather take a beating than be labeled the slut who stole someone’s boyfriend. “How dare you talk smack!” Livid, Joan pushed Sasha to the ground and stomped her heels on Sasha. Sasha cried out in pain. “You go, Joan!” “How dare she steal your boyfriend. We should take off her clothes and ruin her.” “Th

Joan, a Quint member in Riverbank, walked in the front. She glared at Rhys and yelled, “Bastard! Didn’t you say that you were in Westeros attending some film festival? Why are you still in Riverbank?” Rhys looked at his girlfriend, who put him on a tight leash lately, and said awkwardly, “Well, the film festival is over. I arrived home early. I just got back.” He and Joan had been dating for six months. They were not serious, though. There were a lot more women for Rhys to explore in the world. He did not want to be held down by a ball and chain. However, his father, Boris, felt that it was time for Rhys to get married and have kids. Since Joan came from a prestigious family, Rhys got together with her. Joan had always been the one to act submissive in his presence. She would turn a blind eye to his romantic pursuits and even cover for him. Rhys understood well that Joan would be marrying up. However, Joan had been getting full of herself lately. They might not understand the threat that came with Great Road Group. However, Boris, one of Riverbank’s four underground kingpins, had been a menace for twenty years. No one would want to get on his bad side. Many shook their heads and sighed. No one could save Sasha now. It was a shame that the innocent and pretty girl ran into Rhys today. They knew what would happen to Sasha at the hands of Rhys. No one dared to speak up against Rhys’ indecent behavior in broad daylight. “Sasha is your name? It’s beautiful. What are you interested in? “Why are you saying no to money?” Sasha was scared as the guy would not leave her alone. She replied, “I just want to finish school. Now isn’t the time to think about money.” She took out her phone to call Kaze. “Aren’t you rude?” Rhys commented with a fake smile. He snatched Sasha’s phone, and the latter panicked and uttered in fright, “G-Give that back!” “I offered you a shortcut in life, and you should’ve taken it.” Rhys released his grip, and the phone dropped to the floor. “Crack!” He stomped on the phone and said grimacingly, “Don’t act like you’re above all, gold digger.
