The Meeting

I was shocked and almost scream. Even though it's dark I was still able to see. Slightly he looks familiar but as I look again, that person turned out to be a handsome young man with black hair strokes with highlights of turquoise and a charming navy suit matching his style. White pale skin with a peachy plum lip. I didn't realize I was staring at him until he chucked, making me realize my action. I looked away blushing while he just chuckled again.

He goes to me and taps my back as I face him halfway by only turning my body a little bit. He calmly asks me for my name yet somehow the way his eyes pierce makes my body shiver, I replied with my voice stuttering "Ar... Ahem. My name is Liliana Terrance. I am the one who hosts this party. Mind introducing yourself Mr ? "

and he responds, "Oh... Right... my apologies. Where is my manner... my name is Alpha, that's what people call me. I came earlier with Val"

As I heard that I straight away turned my body and face him with one hand holding a cup of alcohol, "Oh! Then you're that guy that stays silent and just nod while other's introduce themselves? Hmm... Glad to meet you. But, Alpha? That's a unique one", I said while chuckling softly. He scratched his head and sheepishly apologize for being rude before.

"Well then Mr.Alpha, it seems that you're the one who'd been staring a hole at my back," I said teasingly.

He replied with a small smirk plastered on his face, "Are you trying to flirt with me, my Lady?" He Chuckled a bit then continued " But Young lady, You are not Wrong. You're just so stunning in that dress that I can't seem to take my eyes off it."

His word that was coated with sugar-sweet layers makes my cheek blush as I replied, "why thank you." with a soft chuckle and my hand covering my mouth vaguely. He followed my chuckle and then pat my head while saying,

"Happy Birthday Liliana."

His voice was soft and sweet as he said happy birthday to me, accompanied with a soft smile I feel my heart skip a beat yet I couldn't shake off the feeling of familiarity towards him as I see his soft gaze, it's as if I had seen him before this meeting. But even so, I replied, " Thank you Alpha, Enjoy the party~Until we meet again."

I smiled and walked away, leaving him standing alone there. Now, going to Alpha Point of view.

I was staring at her back who disappeared in the crowd.I didn't know why she attracted me so much. Maybe her face was quite similar to mine? Maybe her presence felt familiar to me? Her vibe that calms me down? I don't know but in fact, what I know is that she must've had something connected to my past.

Just right at that time. I received a call. I picked it up

"Long time Alpha." This voice, a voice that can't be more familiar to me than ever.

"Mikael Lenox," I said firmly.

"Ow~~ you remembered me, I'm touched. hahaha well, it seems that you get a new toy ha? I wonder how she tastes like? Is she your new girlfriend? What happened to Irene last time?" He said teasingly. But his word annoys me so much knowing what he did to Irene and me.

"You better don't touch her. She got nothing to do with me. She is just Vallen's Friend. She got no connection to me nor you. So mind your business and stay away from innocent people Mikael."

He was getting on my nerves and I was annoyed by his words. Knowing him, it won't be surprising if he suddenly said he planted a bomb in here somewhere.

"Remember Alpha. You ruined my life by taking my love now I'm gonna ruin yours. You don't deserve any bit of happiness for all of the things you did. you should have accepted what I give you with open arms or you're gonna lose someone more precious to you than your life." He threatens me then laughs maniacally.

"Hahahaha someone more precious to me than my life? There is none Mikael. Everyone precious to me is dead." I replied as if I heard the best joke in the universe. But his reply shocked me and causes doubt to grow in my heart. 

" Oh really? Hahahaha you're really are blind huh? but whatever. You will know soon anyway, but do protect that girl the best you can cuz maybe you'll regret not doing so."

"Tch what do you know Mikael? ... Your girlfriend died because she deserves it. You didn't even know she is a slut? She plays you and here I am saving your ass and your business. Did I receive thanks? no and her? You can do whatever you want, She got nothing to do with me and won't affect me in any way.."

"Stop with the Bullcrap Alpha. She wasn't like that. Isn't it you who seduces her? and you want my thanks? In your dream! You better watch your back. I wasn't as weak as I was and you better remember your words. Hahahaha. When you find out who she is, you'll probably cry back to your mom's grave." He insulted me. My blood was boiling from what he said. Insulting me is fine but my mom is another different matter.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH! Watch your word, Mikael! Do you think I'm afraid? My team is stronger than you. Who do you think you are? Who gives you your current power? you're nothing but a pile of shit. so screw away, put your tail between your leg and fuck off." I said holding my anger back.

"Hahaha... Just remember motherfucker! I'll get my revenge and for your information, don't you even realize that right now I got to see you and that girl? Tick tock Alpha, she could die with just a flick of my finger and when that happens, YOU WILL WISH YOU NEVER STARTED ALL OF THIS." He said while laughing hysterically.

"YOU FU-"

The phone got cut off. I was boiling mad and I felt as if I would break something I shouldn't if I continued to stay so I dialed Neva and ask him to meet up along with others. After a minute, we grouped up and I start speaking.

I showed a very visible annoyed face as I give out the news to them, "Mikael Lenox is back"

With just 4 words that I spoke, They begin to stiffen up and go alert since Mikael was a sensitive topic for all of us knowing 8 of us used to be friends.

Val then said "We need to be careful now." as he shows worries and anxiety on his face. I tap his shoulder and said to him that he got interested in Liliana. I also told him that it was just a second ago that I speak with her and he thinks she's someone I love. As I see how his face paled up I softly squeeze his shoulder and give him a firm nod, assuring him that things will be okay.

Beside me was Trevor, hearing this he curse and protest, "Shit! Now we gotta protect a stranger?! Hell no!" That small shout was able to perks up everyone's attention. The others finally understand the problem that was going on and sigh in distress.

Neva, a guy with dark blonde hair and a cute face as if he is an idol rather than a mafia man smacked Trevor's head and said "Language boy! and we got no choice so bear with it. You better act nicely towards her later."

Vallen was still shocked by the news, to the point that his body trembled softly and he mumbles his friend's name while stuttering, "L-Lily? No...Anyone but her."

Eddie, The calmest person, and the clumsiest man have ever met. A tall guy with silver hair and had multiple piercings in his ears, tried to calm his friend down with reassuring words, "It's okay Val, she's gonna be okay. We're gonna protect her."

Val just nodded while looking down with a worried face.

Looking at the situation I ask them about the solutions, "Now... How are we gonna get her to believe she was in danger?"

We all looked at each other and sigh, confused about what to do as we don't harm innocent people even tho we work in a criminal lane, we are all silent until Jaxson, a guy with a cocky face and bunny tooth, a brown hair and a well build yet lean figure spoke up, "Do we got a choice? Let's just take her. Anyway, she is safer with all of us than here, and we have Val, her friend. I'm sure we can reassure her somehow.We don't have any more time to waste now that he is back."
