David smacked Jade, she fell into a desk and was knocked unconscious. David picked her up and walked back to the table. He put the needle back into her arm and injected her with the medicine Mike told him to. David went to pick Jade up she opened her eyes and punched him in the nose. He stumbled back and she pulled the needled out of her arm, the blood from her head wound rushed down her face. She staggered to her feet, the medicine kicked in full force, she fought it as much as she could. David shook the feeling off and rushed towards Jade. She tossed vials at him, missing him mostly. She tossed a blood vial at him, he ducked and it hit the wall. Her head started spinning, and her knees buckled underneath her. He grabbed onto her and punched her in the face until she was unconscious. He picked her up and carried her to his wait
Jade tried hard to move her head or her hand to let them know she was still with them. Her heart slowing down scared her, she tried to speak but her voice was broken. She tried to open her eyes but it was like someone was holding her eyelids down. “Maybe we can use a little venom to bring her out of the coma and ask her who she wants to bite her?” Garrett suggested. “We could but that might not be enough to bring her out,” Jayden said. The phone on his belt vibrated. “Hello?” Jayden said. He paused. “I'll be there in a moment, I'll explain my situation when I get home.” He said. He paused. &nb
Jade blinked and looked over. She recognized this place, but couldn't place it. She was still too weak to speak. She wasn’t sure if this was a trap set by the Spell Blades, or if they were making peace for now. “Talon come out here now!” Gage yelled. Talon rushed to the door, and jumped off the porch, he stood in a defensive stance. “I don’t want to fight tonight; I've brought her to you. Consider this a truce for now.” Gage said. “How do I know this isn’t a trap?” Talon said. “You don’t, but I would trust me on this, besides I'm not someone you should be worried about right at this time,” Gage said. “And who might be after
Jayden walked into the kitchen, Garrett sat back down, he slowly moved his hand to her face. She was still as white as a ghost. Maybe the venom worked, he thought. “Are you hungry?” He asked. “Umm not really, I just feel like sitting here for a bit.” She spoke. “But if you need to feed, I understand.” “No, I'm okay right now,” he lied. “Garrett it’s okay you can go and feed. My dad is here if anything happens.” Jade said. “I just got you back, I don’t want to lose you again.” He said shaking his head. He wasn’t going to go anywhere without knowing she would be safe. He was scared they would come and try and take her again. “Garrett I will be okay, if you'd like I can
Jade walked away from David; Jayden's teeth showed. He picked the dagger up, and smelled it, and then put it to David’s neck and pulled it across leaving a single line of blood. David slowly choked to death, and then died. Jade turned and walked back through the door and up the stairs without another word. Garrett waited in the living room. “Did you get your revenge?” He asked. “I think so, but I still feel angry about it,” Jade said. Dimitri and Ivan walked into the living room and looked at Jade. Jade turned around and looked at them. “Sorry about that, I just needed to get that out,” Jade confessed. “You do not remember us do you, Jade?” Ivan said. &nbs
“Garrett.” “Shh it’s okay, I just went for a walk.” He smiled. “I know dad told me; I was just worried when you weren’t in here I thought maybe I scared you?” “Na love, you don’t scare me. I scare myself worse than you could.” He smiled. She sat up and put her arms around his neck. He slowly moved around her waist. He listened to her heart race; her body trembled before she spoke. “I love you, Garrett.”Garrett gulped and took a breath before he returned the favored words. “I love you too Jade, don’t scare me like that again.” “I won’t I promise,” Jade said.
Garrett found the family sitting in the living room. He sat down on the couch. “So I’m kind of worried about Jade.” He said clearing his throat, everyone looked at him. “The scratch is gone, but now there is a symbol there.” He said looking at Jayde. “What!” he growled. Jumping up, he rushed to where Jade was sleeping, Garrett was right, there was a symbol there. He didn’t know what he meant, he knew the Prophecy was going to happen whether they wanted it to or not. He started to worry. He walked back downstairs. “We’re going to have to take her to the Druid, Garrett’s right there is a symbol there. Not sure what it means, but it cannot be good.” He said lighting a cigarette. No one said anything, Jayden thought about Alexandria, they could use her right now. Gage made sure she was out of
The front door opened; Jade opened her eyes. It was Dani, she had a bag of something in her hand. “Jade want to help me in the kitchen for a moment?” She asked. “Sure.” Jade got up and followed Dani into the kitchen, Dani set the bags down on the counter. “Sorry I could feel the tension in there, that’s why I asked you to help me,” Dani said. “Thanks, yeah I feel like dad is hiding something from me. I'm scared.” Jade said. “Eh when he's ready to share he will d
“Since I can’t have you anymore Jade I’m going for your mother!” Juka taunted. Jade wasn’t sure if they were empty threats, she was going to get to him again, she wanted to show him that his army was going to fall before his eyes, and they were. His army was getting smaller by the second. The group Jade had formed had already lost people, but they were holding strong. She was proud of them; she would celebrate with them if they made it out alive. The place was practically destroyed, but Jade promised herself she would help them rebuild it. She was exhausted from the fighting, the realms were battling, Juka had a small army with him still. She was making her way towards him; nothing was going to stop her from taking him out. The fact he threatened her mother and was goin
Following Dasha and everyone else inside, Jade felt an instant relaxation for some reason, maybe it was from the magical realm, or because she knew she could rest for some reason. Taking a deep breath when they entered the castle, Dasha led them each to their rooms, Jades was the first room, so she was able to run her bath and relax first, she was glad she was the first one to go. Getting in the tub, she laid her head back and closed her eyes. She felt a similar feeling of getting a vision, she wanted to fight it, but someone was pulling her into it. She lost to it. “Hello, Jade.” A familiar voice spoke. “Who, who are you?” she said but couldn’t move or see the person.&nb
The Fae didn’t allow anyone to walk, they summoned a horse and carriage and gave everyone a tour of the realm. Jade was glad she didn’t have to go through the whole vision thing again, she wasn’t sure she had the strength again. “How are you feeling?” Jayden asked holding Jade’s hand. “Tired, I didn’t think seeing visions were going to be so hard on me.” She said looking at him. “I didn’t realize you went through so much when you were human and all.” Jayden wasn’t sure he wanted to go through and talk about his past. It had been a long time since he’d thought about them. He wanted to see him and see them, he knew he wouldn&rsq
Jade wasn’t sure if they were serious, but she was ready to go back to her friends. “I think I am ready.” She said taking a deep breath. “So how do I go back?” “Close your eyes, and when you open them you will be back with them.” “Alright.” She said taking one final deep breath before she closed her eyes. She felt her body become light and she closed her eyes and then quickly opened her eyes, she was laying on the floor in the living room of the witch. “Wait.” She said getting to her feet, she was wobbly. Gage grabbed her. “I don’t understand.” “Sit down
Jade felt something for Gage, she felt pain for him. She didn’t want to see the rest of his life, she knew he was going to be cold and dark. She knew his whole life was a life and taken away from him. “I don’t even know what to say about this anymore.” She said with tears forming in her eyes. “Are you trying to make me see the sadness in each of their lives? I understand why they are in this.” “No Jade we are trying to show you why they are the way they are. You cannot change them, and we want you to stop trying. You have to continue with what you have to do.” “I am going to continue.” She whispered. “Please can you send me back, I promise not
Jade was torn about what she would do about Gage, he didn’t have a right to turn on her, he needed to know the truth about what happened. Vampires didn’t kill his parents, his own did. He was kidnapped and was tortured and forced into his position. Yuno was responsible for what happened and he should be the one that answers for that. She wondered why Yuno wanted her memory wiped. “Why did Yuno want my memory wiped?” “Oh, finally a new question, something you’ve never asked before.” The voice said. “Most likely because he thought you would remember something like we’ve shown you today. He is probably wondering if you’ve remembered anything from your past lives. Some people do remember.”
Jade didn’t know how to react, she was sick to her stomach, the man she called her love wasn’t her love anymore. She couldn’t see Gage doing all of this stuff especially to someone she was related to. She was pissed, she wanted to end everything she knew, she wanted to run away from Gage and she wanted to get rid of the Spell-Blade in her. She wanted to become human and leave everything behind. “How, how do I become human again?” Jade said wiping the tears from her eyes. “I don’t want to be anything to do with the Spell-Blades.” “You have to do what needs to be done, Jade. This is who you are right now.” The voice said. “I will be showing you next how Gage became the darkness he has. You will understand him as
Seeing how her father struggled when he was a human-made her sad. She wasn’t sure how to take this in. she wanted to go to him and help him, but she knew these were visions from the past. She wasn’t sure how he would react when he found out she would know about how he was in his past. It broke her heart that he was human and no one was there to help him and that he was there alone, but he was so strong, and he wouldn’t let them take him down, he was a fighter, even if he was just a human. “Jayden lost his family, fell to the pit of hell, and found his way again.” The voice said. “Let me show you.” “Okay,” Jade said closing her eyes, another vision.&n
“I guess that makes sense,” Jade said wanting to forget what happened to her when she was younger. She knew that man never was released again, she hated that man, and what she had to go through when the court was brought up. “I had to go through years of court because of my mom and her choices of men. He wasn’t the only bad one.” “We know. But don’t worry you don’t have to face any more of them. We know that you are aware of what he can bring up. You better prepare what he is going to bring into your life when you battle him.” “Juka better be careful when he brings people up because I will ensure to use them against him too.” Jade snapped. “I hate that I’ve had a shitty childhood if only things were different.&rd
