“We don’t do that!” I whispered angrily at Lexi. I dragged Lexi away from the party and jumped in my car. I needed to get as far away from there. She was laughing in the passenger seat. I jerked my car into my driveway rushing through the front door. I can’t believe she pulled that stunt at the party. How fucking dare she. They almost found out that I’m a girl! I’m not ready for that reveal yet.

“What?” She laughs putting her hands on her hips. A smirk on her face. “What did I do?”

“You drugged him!” I say as I push past her and go sit on my bed. My heart is still pounding in my chest from the close call.

“I had to do something,” she said. “He wasn’t falling for it anymore.”

“We are not stooping to their level, Lex. He could have been raped or hurt or anything. Hell, he almost hurt me because he couldn’t control himself. How would you have felt then?” I pulled the wig off my head and the bald cap and let my long black hair down.

“Like anyone would hurt-” she starts.
