The next morning, I woke up to the empty bed my heart craving for the presence of Leonard but knowing he was right in everything he said last night. The enemy was out there and they needed to stop them. It would be very selfish of him to lay at home having fun while his warriors are out there in the cold night trying to restore the peace

I made it out of bed and sat down with my phone in my hand struggling to agree on if to call him and ask him about last night or to wait till he comes back this night, as he had told me he would return this night with Adrian.
