“How can we just leave just like that? That wasn't part of the plan” my mate whined from the bed she was laying. She was absolutely correct, but this is unexpected and I have to get back to the pack on time since Leonard, my pack’s Alpha isn't around. 

Normally the Alpha and the park do not just leave the park like that without one person staying behind to oversee the activities of the pack or at least appoint someone, among the elders to do so.
