46. Denny on Duty

"Carl, I ordered some food at the restaurant downstairs. Please pick them up and send them to Sweet Haven, as I told you when I gave you a calling card last night. I did tell you about it, right?" Denny asked with uncertainty. He can sometimes forget things like he had them in his thoughts but failed to speak for the other person involved. He is just human. After all, mistakes are inevitable.

"Yes, sir," Carl answered politely.

"You just have to hand the food to the lady named Marie, and she will do the rest," the employer instructed.

Denny called his driver as soon as he placed his order for take-out at the ground-floor restaurant in his office building. It was a hospital compound, but Denny's office, which is actually his brother's, was located on a separate building with its ground floor having commercial establishments such as convenience stores, restaurants, and coffee shops.
