197. Seeking Justice

"How do you want to deal with the murderer?" Denny asked cautiously as he fed Aleah.

They were alone in the room as the owner of the house had already left to give them privacy. Denny did not let Aleah know anything about his relationship with the person involved. He wanted to hear Aleah's opinion decisions, and whatever she wanted to be done will tell him what to do. He was after knowing her personal thoughts about the matter from a spectator's point of view.

"I wish to fight and get the justice my mom deserved," Aleah spoke firmly, but her resolute mind seemed to soften. Sadness cloaked her. "But I don't know how. I don't have the strength because the doctors said I have to rest and make sure my babies are safe. I fainted when I heard my mom's heart stop beating, and I almost had a miscarriage. I can't be reckless and let another bleeding happen, or I might lose them along with my mom," she added. Her voice was shaking in fear, even from just the thought of it.
