Sonnet took both children into her arms. Everyone in the apartment smiled warmly while watching them.

Everyone had lunch happily. During lunch, Sophia kept filling Johnson’s plate with food. Lindy was slightly displeased by the sight of this. “Mom, why do you keep filling Johnson’s plate with food? You’re making it seem like he’s your son!”

Sophia glanced at Lindy and said, “Of course, I must reward him well. Jaybie recovered so well because of how meticulously Johnson took care of him this past month!”

Lindy scratched her head and said, “That’s true!” She then placed a chicken wing on Johnson’s plate.
