Chapter 671

Marcus went upstairs in brisk steps as he hummed a little tune. Just as he reached the fifth floor, he ran into Jaybie standing outside the door.

"Jaybie? What are you doing outside?" he asked.

"I’m putting the garbage at the door first to throw it out together later."

Marcus saw that there was indeed a plastic bag by his feet.

“Oh, let's go in." He was careless. He patted Jaybie on the head and went into the house with him.

"Uncle Marcus, why did it take you so long to see the car?" Jaybie looked up at him and asked.

"Oh, I smoked a cigarette." Marcus said what he had thought up before.

Jaybie suddenly leaned over to him and took a whiff. "There is no smell of smoke."

Marcus coughed twice. "It's a bit windy outside. It must have been blown away long ago."
