Sonnet looked over and saw Maggie standing at the back of the classroom. Maggie glanced in their direction before she sat down by herself in the back corner.

"I bet she’s ashamed to sit with us," Vespa said.

"Won’t she be looking for trouble if she chose to sit here with us?" Laurel snorted.

"I thought she was just arrogant, but I didn't expect her to do such a thing," Vespa said.

Laurel rolled her eyes and replied, "She has always looked down on all of us and thinks that she’s smarter and more capable than others. She must have fallen in love with Mr. Yates and was envious and hateful when she found out that Mr. Yates sent Sonnet to school. She thought she was exposing Sonnet's true colors, but she didn't expect that she’d be the clown."

Vespa went on, "She made a fool of herself, and it may be difficult for her to climb up to the headquarters. When others hear that she has offended Mr. Yates, they won’t pay much attention to her."
