The next day, Sonnet brought her thermos to class as usual.

Vespa asked, “Are you still bringing your prenatal tea today?”

Sonnet looked helpless and replied, “Yes, I told Aunt York that I’m okay, but she insists that there’s no harm in drinking it.”

“You’re lucky to have an aunt who cares about you so much!” Vespa envied.

Sonnet smiled warmly and said, “Yes, I think Aunt York is so kind too.”

She took a sip of the tea, frowned, and put the thermos aside, saying, “It might be good for me, but this herbal tea really doesn’t taste good.”

“Good medicine is bitter, and since it’s good for the baby, you have to endure it,” Vespa advised her.

During the break, Sonnet took Vespa and Laurel to the restroom together.

Maggie watched them leave the classroom, then quietly got up and went to their seats.
