Hayden fell silent for a moment before responding, “I still have another meeting to go. Why don’t you go in first and wait for me?”

Sonnet handed her phone to the doorman, who then let her in. She followed the instructions given by the doorman and went to the vice president's office. The secretary handed her a cup of coffee and said, “Miss Turner, Mr. Gunn asked you to wait for him for a while.”
