The next day was a weekend, so Sonnet got up early and went to the Lux Club to take care of Shay.

She played with Shay for a while in the morning. After lunch, Shay wanted to play with Jaybie, so Sonnet brought him to the Harrison Estate.

The sunlight was warm in the afternoon. The three children ran around the neighborhood, having a blast, while Sonnet followed behind with Lindy, who did not have work today.

"I overheard your conversation with Jaybie yesterday. Are you really planning to tell Maxwell about your two kids soon?" Lindy asked her.

Sonnet nodded wistfully. "I'll have to tell him eventually."

"Maxwell is really fond of you, so I don't think he'll mind. What are you so worried about?" Lindy asked when she saw Sonnet frowning slightly.

"I'm worried Mrs. Wilson will mind."

"She's just a servant. So what if she does?"

"She's more than just a servant. She practically raised Maxwell all his life, and she even stayed single so she could take care of him. She's more like
