I couldn't bring out my doubt but still I couldn't trust him being the one Adrian wanted working with. What if he's trying to instill fear into me or trying to trick me indirectly into giving off my wealth to Adrian.

“But his name didn't–”

“He was using a fake name to invest in your company and each time you asked to meet with the chief shareholders in your several companies, he will get someone to represent him.”

“Gosh!” I sighed, looking back in shock.

“Then why–”

“Have you discovered why he disappeared those whole eight years after I was proclaimed dead at the hospital?” I could still remember him being the last person I saw before I passed out. Upon lying there in coma, though I was unconscious, I could sense Cameron's cologne and feel his presence. I was suffering from a broken heart syndrome over fear of separating from Adrian, since we had a quarrel that was so serious he lost interest in me and then I loved him so much.
