Cameron's POV

“You're ignoring me in this situation where you're supposed to do something?”

“I really have nothing to say to you for now till I'm back from my leave.” His tone sounded so indifferent that if I was Adrian myself, I would get pissed, coupled with the fact he gave him such an amount of money but there was no excuse for an evil person.

I waited for them to keep on speaking but didn't hear a word again, I paused to think. “What could have happened?” I sensed something unusual, so I quickly withdrew and signaled three of my colleagues who were standing guard at the entrance of this building.

It wasn't up to two minutes, we returned to find Adrian with the commissioner, blood oozing out from his nostrils and ears. He was trying to pack up some important documents. For a few seconds, we stood there like statues, shocked by what we just saw and couldn't do anything.

“Fire him!” I commanded being the superior. Before Adrian who hadn't noticed us could turn up point his gun
