Chapter 19

Ethan:

"I'll take Kimberly home." I said to no one in particular but the next instant, a large and heavy thud diverted my attention.

Kimberly had collapsed right on the spot. She just laid there like a log of wood.

I shouldn't have left her even for a second.

Immediately, I ran to her side and hurled her up, carrying her in a Bridal style into the car and the minute she was seated in the front seat, I walked over to the driver's seat and zoomed off to my hideout.

My head couldn't stop running a hundred miles a minute as I blamed myself for everything that has happened to Kimberly.

It was all my fault, I should have added more security and not let her get hurt for any reason.

Every now and then, I turned to stare at her calm and pretty face. She looks so beautiful while sleeping.

With the way I was driving like I had been possessed, I was quite lucky that there were no cops on duty.
