"My legs are weak," Yasmin said.

"Your legs are weak?" Blake's long fingers massaged her legs. "Where exactly? Should I call the doctor in to check on you?"

"No, I'm not injured. I just sat on my legs for too long and they went numb."

"Poor posture," Blake remarked. "I've told you before, you should sit with both feet on the ground. Don't sit on them or cross your legs."

Yasmin kept her head down and didn't speak.

Blake looked at her for a while, then explained, "I'm not scolding you, I'm telling you that those bad habits are not good for your body."

He spoke to her in a soft and gentle tone.

Yasmin looked up at him.

He softened his voice and said, "Starting today, Tyler will pick you up and drop you off from work. It's dangerous for you to drive or take a cab alone. You're not allowed to go out alone from now on."

Blake's words were a command but also a show of concern.

Yasmin could feel his worry for her. Her anger slowly subsided, but she still felt a little aggrieved.
