My night with Cassie went smoothly without any interruption from the ghost brothers. It was a surprise to me that neither of them had gone against my wishes and scared my best friend. A part of me had expected it to happen but imagine my greatest disappointment when they never did. It was a relief to me that for once they had decided to heed my appeal. I was expecting Calvin to throw a tantrum but he hadn't.

Cassie was sleeping peacefully on my bed after we had finished seeing the first six episodes of Gossip girl. We had decided to call it quits since it was two in the morning already and Cassie was yawning her ass off. Though, she refused to admit that we were cutting our movie marathon off because she was feeling sleepy and chose to believe that it was because I needed to travel the next day.

I crept out of my room after Cassie had slept off. I needed to inform the ghost brothers that I was travelling the next day. I knew they were aware given how Cassie had not been quiet about

“Mon amour,” my mom greets me, placing a kiss on both sides of my cheeks as soon as I arrive at our family house. Cassie had dropped me at the airport early in the morning before she left for work. I didn't see the ghost brothers before I left and I assumed they were still out because Cassie was around. Hopefully, Drew would inform them about my whereabouts. “Bienvenue a la Maison,“ ('Welcome home’) she said to me in her thick French accent. I wonder why I never knew how to speak the language. Though I couldn't speak, I understood the minor words that had to do with greeting and saying yes or no. "Thank you, mama," I replied, hugging her. “Where's Dad?“ I asked, searching around for him. “Oh, he stepped out to do an urgent delivery. He would be back within the next few minutes," she answered. "That's good,“ I said, following her into our little home.It Wasn't big nor was it small. It was modest but it was enough to call it home. After all, a house becomes a home when your loved o

“How is New York?“ My dad asked me as we sat at the dining table having dinner. My mom had gone all out and prepared a lot of mouth-watering dishes for the night. When I had gotten down after freshening up, I had been surprised to find the table set like we were expecting visitors. Unfortunately, we weren't and I wondered how we would be able to finish all that my mom had prepared since it was just the three of us. “New York is fine. Though, I don't have the time to explore the fun side of it because I have been busy with work," I replied to my dad."I thought your boyfriend was doing a good job with that,” my mom interjected. I had forgotten that I hadn't informed them about my breakup with that douchebag. It's not like when we were still together he did anything fun in my life. All he was good at was downgrading me and complaining about every single thing I did. “Yeah, I believed he would have done a good job of taking you out to have some fun. What was his name again?“ My dad a

“Oh my goodness, this is amazing,“ I moaned out in pleasure at the feeling of my mom's homemade pie on my tongue. My taste buds were going crazy with how the caramel juice melted in my mouth at a single bite from the crust. I wonder how my mom makes it taste so perfect. I would love to have the recipe for it. Not so I could make it but to have Drew do it for me. Well, I knew that if I attempted to make it myself then I was just going to murder my mom's recipe and that was something I wouldn't want to do. I wanted to be able to see a caramel pie and think of how delicious it is when made by mom and not see it as a hideous task I failed at. “Be careful so you don't bite your tongue,” my mom laughed at how I was munching the pie. I swallowed. “You can't blame me for eating it in a hurry, Maman. It's just like how I remember it. The taste hasn't changed and it's fantastic," I said, taking another bite of the creamy goodness. “You are not far from the truth,” my dad supported.“Oh, come

“Yes, that's the one,‘ I confirmed. “Sad what happened to their boys," she said with a disappointed sigh. "Their boys? Do you mean the Walter Family?“ Dad asked. “Yes, James. You remember there was an incident back in New York where they had a restaurant coming up?“ My Dad snorted. “Yeah, I remember it clearly. There is no way I could forget about that news when it was trending for a few days and automatically we didn't get to hear anything later on.“ “Seriously? Why do you think the news about them disappeared?“ I asked. My mom shrugged her shoulders. “Who knows? I bet the family just wanted their news out of the public eye,” she answered. "I don't think that’s the case,“ my dad chipped. “What do you think then?“ My mom asked him. "I think there was something more to the case which was why they hid the news from the public." “Something like what?“ I asked. “The Walter family are prestigious and well-known inside and outside of France. Why would news that involved

“But it didn't take up to an hour and the news was wiped out,” my mom concluded. "That is weird," I said. "Totally weird," my mom confirmed.“Which was why I believed strongly that the family was trying to hide something. No one goes through all that stress just because they want privacy," my dad added. "True word, Papa.“ Throughout the night, I was restless as I kept wondering what could be the reason behind the actions of Drew's parents. I was beginning to believe my dad's hypothesis on the parents having something to hide which was why they didn't want the public to know the situation of their children. But, what was it? That was the major question disturbing my night. I had to think of a strategy quickly before the next day. My plans had involved coming to France but that was how far I had thought out the plan. I hadn't thought of how I was going to meet up with their parents and question them on their child. I was hoping for a miracle to happen but I knew deep down that it h

I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and relaxed. The call with Drew the previous night had taken my mind off the initial issue at hand and now that I was awake, I had to think of a strategy for getting the information I needed. The hospital sounded like the best place for me to begin my investigation and so, I stood up from my bed, having a destination in my mind. I believed it would be better if I started with where they were taken to after they were flown out of New York in the middle of the night. I quickly ran into the bathroom to have a quick shower and dress up for my trip to the hospital. I threw on a pair of black jeans and a white top after drying myself off and applying my body cream. I packed my hair into a ponytail and applied a bit of concealer under my eyes to hide the bags. I quickly ran through the contents of my bag to confirm if I had everything I needed in it. Feeling satisfied with myself I walked out of my room, closing the door behind me. My mom was a

“Hi please I am here to see Drew Walters,"I said to the receptionist at the hospital “Excuse me," she said surprised by my request. "I said, I am here to see Drew Walters," I repeated, patiently. "Is he a patient or a staff of the hospital?“ She asked. I slapped myself inwardly for not thinking of a plan before approaching the hospital. How could I have been so stupid to think that if I walked up to the receptionist desk and asked to see Drew Walters, I would be directed to his ward? I had to think of something fast before I get thrown out of the hospital because the receptionist at the desk was giving me a suspicious look. “He is my fiance and he is a patient in this hospital," I lied. “Oh dear, when was he admitted?“ She asked me, sympathetically. Oh, fuck! I wasn't thinking of that question coming up when I blurted out that lie. Now, I couldn't just say that he was admitted five years ago, could I? Wait for a minute! I think that might work in my favour, I though

I still couldn't get over the shock of what the receptionist had told me as I sat in the cab taking me back to my parent's house. I was late. That was the only sentence going through my head. If only I had been two months earlier then I would have gotten to meet them before they were moved. There was nothing else I could do to find out the information I needed. The only consoling piece of news was what the lady at the reception desk had told me. According to her, Drew and his brothers had shown great improvement during the last two months which was why they had been moved to their parent's house and were placed under special care. Unfortunately, they were still in a coma and the doctors weren't too sure when they were going to wake up. Though, it was bad to know that they were still fighting for their life. On the other hand, it was better to know that they weren't dead. That has been a fear which I have hidden inside of me for a long time. On the contrary, I wondered why the pare

“Shit," I muttered under my breath, avoiding eye contact with Leslie. I couldn't believe the kind of shitty luck I had. The very person whom I was trying to avoid, stood before me. There was no way for me to escape so I garnered what was left of my courage to face her. “Hey, Leslie. It's surprising to see you here this early," I said, laughing awkwardly. Leslie gave me a stern look. “Indeed,” She smirked.“Botox bitch," I muttered under my breath. “So, do you need my help with anything?" I asked her. Even though I was late, it was surprising to see her on this floor so early in the morning. There must have been a reason why she had decided to grace us with her unwilling presence. “Well, I needed to check on a particular person to see how far they had gone with the upcoming project. But, imagine my surprise when I found the office empty with neither the assistant nor Editor in sight,“ she said I sighed. “Sorry, I am late. But the reasons are beyond my power. There was nothing I

His hands held the sides of my head as he began thrusting into my mouth, loud grunts leaving his mouth. His head was tipped backwards in pleasure and his moans were driving me nuts with pleasure. There was a feeling of pride in hearing him express the effect I had on him through his moans. It was fuel for me to do more. I took more of him into my mouth as my hands moved down between my legs to pleasure myself.I could feel he was close to the edge and I rubbed myself quickly, hoping to come along with him. Within seconds, he stiffened and I could feel warm liquid slip into my mouth. My orgasm hit me immediately like a wave and my legs shook with pleasure. I took all of his cum, swallowing them and not letting any slip out of my mouth. “God, you are incredible,“ Drew muttered, watching me swallow his cum. I giggled in response, standing up from my kneeling position. “Come here," he commanded, drawing me close to him. He kissed me deeply and senselessly. “You are going to be the deat

I ran the water in my bathroom, hoping to take a quick shower before going to work. The coffee had helped in waking my sleepy bones but I still felt weak. If only I could spend the day indoors and not go to work, I thought. But that would never happen. Leslie would see it as an opportunity to chastise me and give me a query. That was something I wasn't interested in. The water heated up and I quickly jumped into the shower. I squeezed a reasonable amount of my shower gel into my hands and applied it to my body. I didn't bother with washing my hair because that would take more of my time which was the opposite of what I wanted to achieve. After applying the shower gel to my body, I ducked my head under the shower to rinse the soap off. The action prompted me to close my eyes to prevent the soapy water from entering them. I felt a hand wrap around my waist and I jumped in shock thinking an intruder had entered my house. I opened my eyes quickly to see who it was, forgetting that I st

I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. My head felt like there were so many pins attached to it and I couldn't make clear what happened the previous night. I was tired and felt like I had been run over by a truck. Fuck, I am never letting Cassie take me clubbing again. I muttered "I support that idea," Drew chuckled, walking into my room with a cup of coffee. He was shirtless and I got a flashback of what happened the previous night. He had given me the best orgasm of my life and unfortunately I had slept off after it. My body was exhausted. Although the release had helped in calming down the stress hormones raging around me. Drew strolled towards me and handed the coffee to me. I smiled and gladly took it from his hands, muttering a thank you. I blew on the hot coffee and took a sip. God, it was marvelous. I moaned in satisfaction, enjoying how he took great precaution in making it just how I loved it. “God, this is amazing,“ I moaned. Drew chuckled. “Only you think that

Drew leaned forward slowly, eyeing my lips, seeking permission to ask for more. I didn't deny him. I let him indulge just as I was enjoying the indulgence myself. We connected again and continued kissing on my bed. I slid further into the bed drawing him along with me. The kiss altered from rough to slow and sensual. I had to give him credit for being able to bring me to my knees with a kiss. His hands continued to explore my body. They ran the length of my body, cupping my breast and I ached into him. He dragged his hands down my abdomen, then further down my leg before he slowly slid up my thighs leaving a trail of fire in their path. A pool of wetness gathered between my thighs as I waited in anticipation for his hands to get to their destination. I spread my legs further apart giving him the permission he needed to touch me deeply. I have craved this for so long and it was about to happen. I couldn't help but Iean into his touch. A soft moan escaped me as he sucked on my bottom

“Damn, your body is a pure work of art," Drew groaned, his hands roaming around my naked flesh. "I could touch it every day without getting satisfied,“ he added, his hands coming up to knead my breasts. Somewhere along the line, our position on the sofa had changed. I was sitting on his lap, my back resting on his hard chest. I could feel the heat radiating from his skin onto mine. I leaned back into him, tilting my head to the side so he could have full access to my body. I was already far gone and there was no way I was going to be listening to any rational thoughts coming from my brain. I was acting plainly on what my body wanted. I needed to be satisfied after being starved of this pleasure for months. I ground myself on him and he placed a hand on my waist to stop me. I made a sound of disappointment, not liking that he had cut my mission short. “Slow down, babe. We will get there. Let me appreciate your body first," he stated. "I dont need any of that. Just touch me," I dem

I walked into my apartment to meet it the same way I had left it. There was no sign of Drew and I wondered if he had forgotten his way to my place. That can't happen because this was somewhere he and his brothers had stayed for years. Maybe he went to get something I concluded. With that thought in mind I meandered to my bedroom to rid myself of the clothes I was wearing. Cassie had gone all out with my birthday attire. lt was a gift from her and she had pleaded for me to wear it to the party. It was a beautiful black gown that clung to my body and accentuated my curves. I had loved it immediately I saw it but there was no fun if I had just put it on without stressing Cassie a bit. I stumbled into my bedroom, flinging the shoes in the process. Damn, those heels had been killing me all through the night. When I had been dancing with it, I hadn't felt the pain but now that my legs were no longer in motion, it felt like there was no flow of blood to my legs. I quickly stripped myself

"What the fuck is going on?“ I muttered under my breath. There was no way it was possible that Cassie could see Drew. This was the very same person she didn't know was hovering over her head at my office, a few months back. How is it possible that she was able to see him? “Hey, Ama. Aren't you going to introduce him to me?" She asked, giggling.Drew laughed. “Guess, your friend is way more drunk than you," he whistled.“Shut up, Drew. I am trying to process this situation," I barked. He laughed. “What's there to process? Your friend is drunk which explains why she can see me. Or, is there any other explanation?“ He asked.I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, you are right," I agreed. “So, would you do me the honours or I should do it myself?“ He asked, grinning. “What are you talking about?“ I asked, confused. Drew rolled his eyes. "I forgot that you were drunk also," he muttered. I snorted “What? No way. I am not drunk, okay?“ “Yeah, you waving like a flag is an illusion," he replied, sarc

"Umm, hey Cas. I am going to head back home now. I am a bit tired and tipsy from all the alcohol," I told her, catching up to her at the bar. “What? Why? We are just getting started on your birthday party. You can't leave before everyone,“ she said, her eyes heavy with alcohol. “Seriously, Cas. We have been drinking and partying for more than five hours now. The alcohol in you is not making you think logically. I think it's time we call it a night," I told her, taking the drink from her and returning it to the bartender. “Come on, Ama That's my drink," she whined. “No, it isn't. You need to stop and go home now. We have work to do tomorrow and I wouldn't want both of us to be dead drunk before then. Not like we aren't drunk already,“ I said, muttering the last part to myself. “Fine," she grumbled, leaving the bar. “Let me get my purse and say goodbye to the others," she said.“Sure. That sounds fine to me. I need to also thank them for coming,” I said following after her to the V
