GENESIS

We walked out of the house and a car, or rather still, cars were ready for us. A guard was holding the door out for us and I walked in, followed by Jordan. The guard shut the door and every other guard moved like soldiers to other cars that were in front of us and behind. Then we moved out in a convoy and damn, everything was just so lovely. I turned my attention to the man who was sitting beside me and found that he was staring at me.

“What is it?” I questioned and his lips stretched into a smile.

“You look really beautiful,” he repeated and my cheeks heated up again.

“You have said that before,”

“I know, but I can’t just imagine not saying it over and over again,” he said. My stomach churned with a beautiful feeling settling at the pit of my stomach.

“I can’t remember the last time I heard flirtatious words,” I responded and he chuckled.

The gate was opened and we drove in while guards fought with closing the gate back because reporters were fighting so hard to get in. The car came to a halt right in the mighty mansion of Liam Chase. My mouth almost dropped at the luxury and wealth packed into that house, but I had seen a lot of things so there was no need to be surprised. Just like Jordan’s house, a lot of guards were all positions at every corner of it. Our guards came down from the car and opened the door and my heart skipped instantly. watching the house and fisting my eyes was no longer interesting. My dilemma only just began. • Get me married   Tonight

GENESISGuards, maids, staffs in general stared at the scene as I pushed Jordan out of his father’s house. He was a strong man and pushing an angry and strong man away from a fight scene was difficult than I thought. He was still so ready to charge at his father but I did not stop. I pushed him and kept pushing till we were outside of the house itself. Then I let him go. I took a deep breath because I was panting and he ran his hand through his hair and turned away, then he rested his hand on his waist.“Let’s go,” I brushed past him and opened the door of the car myself, then I turned back to him. He was still standing with his hand to his waist and he was staring at the house like he wanted to go back in there. I went closer and took his free hand gently, then I pulled him towards the car slowly till he finally looked away from the house. Reluctantly he entered into the car and shuffled to the other side of the car.

“No,” came my simple response as I shot up from his leg. What was he thinking? What was I thinking?“I’m not going to spend the night here,” I added and moved away from him. I could still the heat between my legs and I was scared of what he was thinking.“No, we are not going to have sex,” he blurted and got up from where he was sitting. My eyes went wide and I lowered my gaze. I could not deny that it was the exact thing I was thinking, that he wanted to have sex with me.“That’s not it.” I tried lying.“I just can’t sleep here with you,” I added. He sighed heavily and came closer to me, but I moved away from him. The thought of being so close to him frightening me and the thought of having sex playing in my mind like it was an abomination.“I’m not going to hurt you if that is what you are scared of,” he said s

  • Get me married   A little distance

GENESISI skipped over to the kitchen with a smile on my face while those words replayed in my head. I could not stop smiling, no matter how much I tried to. He was really changing, I was really seeing the changes, they were not just words or promises anymore, he was really doing them, he was keeping his words and doing so much more than that I thought that he would ever do. I had all right to smile, or have my cheeks heated up. But even as I had all the happy and butterfly feelings running from my head down to my toes, I also had to be cautious of the way my heart fluttered for him, the way I want to take a closer look at him and the way he always held me. I had to be very careful of that more than anything else, because I already knew that his heart belonged to someone else. Someone who wasn’t me, a woman he had loved for years. I could not easily take that away and I was not willing to do that. But in other to not get my heart broken, I had to be carefu

  • Get me married   Jordan's nasty thought

JORDAN It felt like a knife was twisting itself inside my chest as I walked back into the room. I stared at the place I had known to be mine, the place I shared with Samantha believing that some day she was going to be my wife. I was so sure that she was going to be mine someday. I believed that some day, we were going to be together no matter what, it would only take a longer time since I had Genesis with me already. But that was a thought I had way before I decided to be a good husband to my wife. I looked around the place, the beautiful feeling I had of it, the excitement that grew inside me when I thought of the idea completely disappeared. I could not help but imagine the look Genesis had on her face when I touched her. “You keep touching me, I want that to stop,” Her voice replayed in my mind and I groaned. Those words were not that tormenting compared to the fear I heard in her voice. She was trying so hard to cover it up, to sound very strong and unaffected, but her eyes ha

  • Get me married   In bed with Jordan

GENESISDinner was beautiful. I had felt like dying when Jordan had embarrassed me like that by saying I was sweaty and needed a shower. But the moment we got to the table, and he put me down, I completely forgot about his words and what he was saying. The aroma of the food prepared made my stomach growl loudly and I completely forgot about anything else or anybody else in there. My legs carried me to my favorite sit, right at the very edge of the table where no one could reach me, not even Jordan. Just as I was about to sit, I felt those same warm yet strong arms hold my waist as his scent enveloped me and made me want to relax into him.“what?” I groaned seeing that he was still not willing to let me rest and he chuckled.“That chair is simply too far,” his words came as he directed us towards the other end of the table. I followed obediently, not minding the way he held me anymore even when it was something that we had talked about earlier. The only thing that occupied my mind was

GENESISI froze in place when I felt him so close to me. And I was quickly reminded of the day he had returned home drunk. My body heated up and my anxiety increased somewhat. But in the quiet room, the silence was even more overbearing. Sleep evaded my eyes as I thought of what could possibly go wrong but again, he was my husband and there was nothing, absolutely nothing wrong with it, if only I was prepared. For a long time, I simply stayed awake and waited for something to happen or for him to say something but when nothing did rather than the steady breathing on my face and the rise and fall of his chest. I relaxed and mentally slapped myself. He only wanted to sleep and there I was thinking of stupid things when he was innocent. Seeing as there was no more danger, I decided to lie in a more comfortable position, my side. Slowly, so to not wake him up, I turned to my side, giving my back to him while moving slightly away too. He breathed heavily and wrapped his hand tightly around
