Patty’s head whipped to the side. Goldman stood in the doorway of her bedroom with his arms crossed and his eyebrow arched up. A black box dangled in his hand. He had on a black dress shirt and dark jeans. Rufus didn’t bark for the hell of it. He had barked because someone else was in the house.
