Chapter 81: The Next Generation

Twins, Jodi and Jackie Garvey, sat in the doctor’s office at the local hospital. Jodi and Jackie had the same general practitioner. Jodi had made an appointment a few days ago to get tested. She thought she was pregnant again. Her and her husband, Matt, had been trying to have a baby. Jackie had been sick for a week and a half and had finally made an appointment to get checked out.

Dr. Uston’s secretary had called them to say they had their results. The twins had decided to go get their results together. Dr. Uston had been their family physician since they were teenagers.

Dr. Uston’s office had white walls. Posters about birth control, the flu shot, and healthy eating were all over the walls. His desk was light brown and small. He was in the office at the hospital twice a week. He had his own practice outside of the hospital with a beautifully decorated office that was warm and inviting. His hospital office had a sterile and cold feeling to it.
