Billy had decided to stay for another few days since business was slow for him back in New York – that and he wanted to fuck Jodi a few more times before he left. Jodi had told Jackie that he was staying a little longer to provide moral support.
It took Jodi two days, but she finally accepted the inevitable. She invited the locals into the bar for a discount night.
Trina, the bartender, gave a customer at a booth a beer and walked back behind the bar to talk to Jodi. She had gone to high school with the twins. Trina was always up for a good time. After they had graduated, Trina had gone to L.A. to become famous. When she had returned to Arizona, her breasts and ass were twice the size they were when she had left. Trina had an auburn afro. She wore a hair band around the front of her head. She had different designs and colors for every occasion. “Hey, are you sure you want to give drinks out tonight at half price? You and Jackie need all the money you can get.”
Jodi looked at her. “I’m positive. If we’re closing down, we’re going to show respect to the town we grew up in.”
“Well, if that’s the case, where’s Jackie?”
“Jackie decided to spend Saturday night in her room crying in a wine bottle. She has accepted it, but she’s really taking it hard.”
“You two live in the hotel. Where are you going to live after you get rid of the place?”
“Don’t know. Our main concern is Dad. The nursing home in Phoenix isn’t cheap. We managed to make last month’s payment, but this month? Who knows?”
“Would they put him out on the street?”
“I wouldn’t doubt it. It’s a for-profit facility.”
“Wasn’t your Dad in the army? Doesn’t he have, like, veteran benefits?”
“Yes, but for certain facilities and those facilities are shitholes.”
“True dat.”
“We can talk about this depressing shit, later. Tonight, we’re drinking with the customers.”
“All right,” Trina cheered. It only took her a second to grab a tequila bottle.
-------
With all the beer and liquor half off and Jodi letting the employees drink with the customers, everyone in the bar was drunk as Cootie Brown by 10:30.
The locals definitely proved that alcohol lowered people’s inhibitions because the men, including the married ones, started flirting with everything that had a pussy.
Jodi didn’t care because her own head was light and bubbly from three tequila shots and six bottles of beer. “Hey, let’s get that jukebox going!” she yelled drunkenly.
A black man standing next to the jukebox said, “I got it, baby.” He reached in his pocket for change. He put seven quarters into the machine. He started punching numbers.
Wanted Dead or Alive began to play. Jodi screamed out, “Whoa, let’s get it on!” Still wearing her white heeled sandals, she hopped on the cooler behind the bar and climbed on top of the bar.
“Oh shit!” Trina yelled and then laughed.
The crowd cheered her on as she danced through the whole song. The people who sat in the booths used the diversion to sneak kisses with one another. Jodi also noticed that some women’s hands had disappeared under the tables as they leaned toward their dates.
As the next song came on, Jodi whipped off her Garvey’s Bar T-shirt and tossed it behind the bar.
“Kitten! What are you doing?” Billy asked.
“I’m hot,” she answered. “Besides, I’ve decided that we’re going out with a bang. We’re going to have a night that this one horse town will talk about for years to come!”
Everyone cheered. Billy shook his head, but he was smiling.
Trina took her top off and climbed on the bar with Jodi. Everyone cheered again and started clapping to the beat of the music. She reached down for a beer hose. “Hey, want to get wet?”
Jodi leaned her head back and stuck her chest out towards Trina. She squirted cold beer on Jodi’s chest, wetting her white bra. She felt liberated as her bra clung to her tits.
“We want you both wet!” a drunk middle-aged white guy yelled.
“Woohoo!” a man from the back of the room yelled.
Trina soaked herself in beer, wetting her brown chest and see through navy bra.
The men cheered and whistled. The women screamed with laughter. Four ladies jumped on tables and started taking their clothes off.
“Hell yeah!” the black guy at the jukebox shouted.
Jodi took the hose from Trina and knelt down in front of Jesse, the bald headed biker guy with the grayish goatee. Jesse had a house in town. He was a moonshiner. He had customers up and down the west coast. He was usually gone by May, but his business had slowed down because of the economy.
“Would you like a drink, sir?” Jodi asked in a flirty voice.
Jesse smiled and opened his mouth. Jodi squirted some beer in it. He caught most of it. He wiped his goatee of the excess liquid and they both laughed.
“Titties, we got titties!” a man shouted with excitement.
Jodi, Jesse, and Trina turned to look at the four women who had gotten on the tables. They had taken their bras off. What was more shocking was they were letting a couple of the guys suck their nipples.
“I won’t be outdone!” Trina yelled. She unsnapped her bra to expose her DDs.
“Goddamn!” the guy at the jukebox shouted, impressed.
Another guy who sat at the bar said, “Fuckin’ A.”
Trina took the hose from Jodi. She walked to Mike, who was sitting at the bar, and knelt down in front of him. Trina pressed the button on the handle of the hose to let beer pour over her chest as she rubbed breasts.
His blue eyes sparkled at the sight.
“Mike, would you like some beer covered nipples?” Trina asked with a big smile.
Mike didn’t hesitate to dip his head to take a dark lobe into his mouth.
Jesse and Jodi heard moaning. They looked around the room. At least six women were laid across the tables getting fucked by their dates. Gina, a local girl on summer break from college, was sucking Billy off in a booth. His head was leaned back with his mouth open as he was holding a glass. Those who weren’t participating were watching – or watching and stroking themselves.
“Well, Jodi honey, you started something here,” Jesse said with a smirk.
Jodi laughed. “Whelp, I guess I better finish it.” She placed both hands on Jesse’s cheeks and turned his head to face her. She kissed him.
Jesse wasted no time dipping his tongue into her mouth. Jodi hadn’t felt this liberated since her first month in college. That had been the first and only time she took part in an orgy. She was excited about participating in a second one. She pulled out of the kiss and said, “I’ve never got to fuck on top of the bar before. Would be nice to do it before the night is over.”
Jesse chuckled. “Who am I to deny one of the owners of this fine establishment?” He pulled his black AC/DC shirt off as Jodi laid down on the bar. She slipped her shorts off. Jesse carefully climbed on top of her. He opened his jeans to reveal his five-inch erection. He stroked himself a couple of times before she opened her legs to let him in. She let out an exhale as he entered her.
He lay down on top of her and gathered her in his arms. She turned her head to watch all the patrons suck and fuck each other’s brains out.
Daniel, the bar’s cook, came out of the swinging kitchen door. The first thing he saw was half of Jesse’s ass hanging out of his pants and Jodi pumping her hips beneath him. Then, Daniel turned his head and saw Mike screwing Trina against the wall next to the jukebox. His green eyes bulged as he focused on the patrons fucking like it was no tomorrow.
“Hey, Daniel,” Trina yelled in between breaths. “Feel, ah uh, free to jump in.”
“Um, I smell like grease!” he yelled and then he turned around and quickly headed back into the kitchen.
Jackie had slipped out earlier to visit Joe, the guy who ran the diner in town. Joe usually closed the diner around nine, but he stayed open for her. He comforted her and empathized with her situation since he had inherited the diner from his parents. Jackie has known Joe since she was little. He was a year ahead of her and Jodi in school. He was able to console her a little, but more importantly, Joe was able to restore her hope. She was able to come up with an idea. They could turn the hotel into a retreat and wedding destination. Of course, it would take a lot of money to advertise. The real problem was could they book big events in time to make the next loan payment to the bank and more importantly make the payment for their father’s care. It was 11:30 by the time Jackie made it back to Garvey's. She couldn't believe all the cars were still outside. She figured everyone would have gone home by now. She parked the four-year-old Toyota her and Jodi shared in
It had taken Jodi almost two hours, but she finally convinced Jackie to go along with her plan. However, it came with conditions. This was a trial run for thirty days. If it goes wrong or if the bar makes less than seven hundred dollars per orgy night after expenses, the plan would be considered a bust and the twins hang their heads in shame as they file for bankruptcy and flee town. Jodi had discreetly spread the word to whoever would be interested in participating. She had gotten Trina to do the same. Jodi had also asked Jesse and Billy to tell their friends who were close to Arizona to come. Three of Billy’s former employees had arrived yesterday to run security. To make up for their low salary, Jackie agreed to let the bouncers have rooms in the hotel for free. Jackie’s paranoia insisted on putting up large signs that said, ‘21 and Up and No Drugs Allowed’ in every other bar window and on the front door. She also put the signs on the doors leading to and fr
Jodi couldn’t have been more pleased. She locked the admissions money in the safe in the bar office and walked back out to the bar area. She smiled when she saw Trina, Sandy, and Becky do a striptease while doing the Electric Slide.Jodi was afraid people would be too uptight, so she offered two free shots of tequila per table and told the staff to do what they had to do to get people to loosen up. Eight more customers entered the bar and the bouncers took their money and gave them wristbands. She went out on the floor to make sure the customers had everything they needed. Jodi spotted a couple of folks in the booths making out. “Hey, remember me?” a deep male voice said behind her. Jodi turned around to look into the deep blue eyes of Sam, the delivery man from earlier that afternoon. “Hi. Sam, right?” Jodi beamed. His blond hair was neatly combed and parted on the side. “Glad you decided to visit us.” “Would you
Jackie and Jodi were in the office at Garvey’s talking about bills. However, this conversation was not like the ones they’ve had in the past. It was a lot more pleasant this time. “So, in four weeks, after following my plan, we’ve made fourteen thousand dollars minus expenses,” Jodi said with smugness in her voice. “If you’re waiting for me to say you were right, I’m not saying it. We can’t allow this forever, Jodi,” Jackie said stubbornly. “I know, but why not enjoy it for now?” Jodi asked with a big grin. Jackie grunted, “I enjoy paying the bills. With that being said, we have enough to make the next retirement home payment.” “I have to go into Phoenix to meet with our suppliers. I can pay Dad’s bill while I’m out there if you can meet with the pool guys that are coming this afternoon.” “You got them to come in this quickly? I thought it would take a few weeks.”Jodi and Jackie had decided to get th
It was 11:45 Saturday night at Garvey's. Jackie did her usual final skim and was heading for the hotel lobby door when Jodi yelled out to her. Jackie turned around as Jodi approached her. “You're leaving?” “Yeah, why is that a surprise?” “Well . . . after your . . . experience with the pool guys I thought you might want to stick around,” Jodi said coyly as she rotated her shoulders. Jackie’s head leaned back to stare at her sister from a different angle. “What experience? I convinced them to take another form of payment.” Jodi burst out laughing. “Yeah, the other form being you. I’m not dumb and I know those guys.” Jackie’s eyes narrowed. “Don’t worry. They didn’t tell me. Like I said, I know those guys.” The dawn of Jodi’s meaning hit Jackie right in the face. “You set me up. You weren’t stuck in traffic.” Jodi laughed. “Now, don't be mad. You needed to loosen up a
Jackie had only gotten a few hours sleep. She couldn’t do anything for Jodi and the rest until morning. Since it was Sunday, she called her lawyer, Lester Jenkins at home. He was more than willing to meet her at his law office since it was an emergency. Barbara had gone to the jail to let Jodi and the rest know that Jackie was trying to find them an attorney. Jackie sat across from Lester Jenkins as she explained everything from the beginning and what had happened last night. Lester had been her parents’ attorney and now her and Jodi’s. He’s known the twins since they were babies, so coming clean about their morally questionable enterprise was hard for her, but she needed help. Plus, he was the only defense attorney in town. There had been two others, but they closed their offices a few months after the crash. If she couldn't get Lester's help, she would have to drive into Phoenix. After she finished explaining the problem, Lester just looked at her
Jackie wanted to consult with Jesse, the motorcycle moonshiner, to get his input on their predicament. Jodi tagged along to his house on the edge of town. They walked around the back of his one-story home to find him tuning up his Harley. Jodi yelled out to him. “Hey, Jesse.” Jesse looked up. “Hey, girls. What brings you over?” They sat down at an old picnic table. Jackie and Jodi told Jesse what happened Saturday night and about Marty Schaffer. “I heard y’all got busted. Tough break. At least half the town thinks so. The other half, well, you know how judgmental people can be.” “Yeah, we know,” Jodi stated. “At least you have the business owners in town on your side. Some don’t approve, but all of them have admitted, to me anyway, that the guests' traffic has spilled over into their businesses. They’re happy about the increase in cash.” “I see,” Jackie said. “Sorry about you g
After a lengthy debate, Jackie and Jodi had decided to go to Lester's office. Under lawyer-client privilege, they told Lester everything they had learned. “I’ve been a lawyer for over forty years and I . . . damn I don’t know what to say. You think you know people,” he choked out. “We need the DA on our side. If we can get him to agree to let all of us operate without harassment, we’ll be home free,” Jodi said. “Sometimes it’s best to deal with the devil you know,” Lester said. “What do you mean?” Jackie asked. “Let’s say you girls can get rid of Marty once and for all. Who is going to take his place? It could be someone that has no tolerance for borderline prostitution, drug dealing, and running moonshine.” “He’s right,” Jackie said. “Hell, we know a couple of the guys at the station. At one time, they were cool dudes,” Jodi stated. “There has to be one person at the station that can take
Matt knew Billy acted too familiar with her. Suspecting it and hearing about it from Billy’s mouth were two different things. The sight of Billy lying on the bed with his hands behind his head and his chest puffed out next to Jodi made Matt’s blood boil. He didn’t know whether to just kick his ass out right or throw him out by the scruff of his neck. Once Billy got over the initial shock of Matt coming out of the bathroom, he had the nerve to smirk at him. “There’s no way in hell that thing is real.” “Billy, this is not the time for your cute zingers,” Jodi said with her head down. Her fingers pressed against her forehead. “Yeah, Billy. Take her advice,” Matt sneered as he approached the foot of the bed. “You said you two were just friends in college,” he said to Jodi. She lifted her head to look at him. “We were friends.” “With benefits,” Billy added. He was still in that same ridiculous pose on the bed.
An hour later, they were in the shower. Matt tickled her as she tried to wash his hair. She giggled so loud that she was afraid that everyone upstairs heard her if they were awake. Matt rinsed the soap off of her.Jodi got out and grabbed a soft towel. She was drying herself. She turned around and stopped when she noticed Matt watching her. The water beat on his chest as his head leaned to the side – checking her out.“Stop it,” she said and swung the towel at him.He let out a playful chuckle.“Wash the rest of that soap off before you turn into a prune,” Jodi said as she held the towel against her.“I will if you promise to get back in bed and wait for me,” he said with a smirk.“I promise,” she said and wrapped the towel around her.He winked at her.Jodi giggled as she left the bathroom, closing the door behind her. Jodi hummed as she picked up their clothes. She folded Matt’s clothes on a chair across the room and placed his boots under the chair. Jodi hung Matt’s black Stetson o
Jodi woke up with Matt’s arms around her. She looked up at his sleeping face. He looked so peaceful. She glanced at the clock on the wall. It was 5:03 a.m. Jodi sighed with regret. She had to wake him. He had to get back to his cabin.“Matt, Matt. Wake up,” Jodi whispered and lightly patted his shoulder.“Mmm,” Matt groaned and kept his eyes closed.“Matt, come on. It’s 5 a.m.” Jodi said and kept patting his shoulder. “Matt, it’s 5 a.m.”He groaned and slowly opened his eyes. “So,” he said hoarsely and tightened his grip around her.“So? You should go before the sun comes up.”“Bunny, don’t you think we’re safe out here? Everyone in both houses knows about us for Pete’s sakes.” He seductively growled. She smiled. “True, but I don’t want to shock them to death. As far as everybody knows you went back to your cabin last night. People have a way of flooding my bedroom in the mornings - whether I’m here or at the hotel.”Matt groaned in protest.“People are going to start stirring in an h
Jesse gave Jodi a small jar of moonshine and an envelope with cash in it. She tried to refuse the money, but Jesse wasn’t having it. He told her to buy something nice for herself. When she got back in the cabin, Matt wasn’t in the kitchen. She wasn’t sure if he was still there or not. Jodi didn’t see him walk back to the cabin when she was outside, but it was dark. She looked around and she didn’t see his hat or jacket. She went downstairs to the office to check on Billy. He had on his gold wire-rimmed glasses. He was rubbing his head as he was pouring over information on his laptop. His next conference call was in thirty minutes. Jodi made Billy a fish sandwich and warmed some fried potatoes. They were leftovers from last night. She sat them down on the desk along with a can of soda. Billy looked up at her and mouthed the words thank you as a man was frantically talking on the speakerphone.“Going to bed?” Billy mouthed. She shook her head and leaned down to give him a kiss on the ch
Matt looked up at her. A tear came down her face. He lay down next to her and wiped it away with his finger. He propped his head up on his hand and looked down at her. “No, I’m sorry. I was an asshole two weeks ago. A monstrous asshole. I know you were taking care of yourself. I know you loved our son. I’m sorry for being stupid; for not seeing it before. You were sick before you had left town. Fainting in the diner, you were fatigued, how pale you were. In hindsight, it was obvious you were pregnant. I was too self-absorbed to see it.”“No. My god, you were working around the clock. You were dealing with all the awful things Marty, Paul, and Ghost were doing. There was no way you could have known.”“That’s another thing. You had to have been frightened during that time. You were sick and pregnant while bodies were piling up around you. Your sister was being threatened and your friends were being killed one by one. You didn’t tell me because I was stressed. You were trying to protect
Matt went outside. Billy stood next to Jodi on the deck. She held a small red cooler and the shawl Rita knitted her. A large wicker picnic basket was propped on a rocking chair.Jodi’s hair was tied in a ponytail with a sheer white scarf. It hung down her shoulder. She wore a yellow sundress that came above her knee. Her feet sported white flat sandals. Jodi smiled as Matt approached them. He smiled back.“There you are,” Billy said cheerfully. “The path is a few feet that way,” he said as he pointed to the far left. “You probably saw it when you pulled in on Monday.”“We did. You sure walking a quarter of a mile won’t be too much for you?” he asked Jodi.“No. I need the exercise,” Jodi said with a smile.“She’ll be fine, just don’t let her carry the basket. It’s heavy,” Billy said.“All right,” Matt said.“Have fun, Pussycat. I’ll see later,” Billy said and kissed her on the forehead.“Don’t work too hard,” Jodi said softly.Matt balled his fists in his pockets to keep from punching
Later that day, Jodi sat at the kitchen table with a wicker picnic basket and a small cooler in front of her. She was waiting for Billy to get off the phone so they could go on a picnic and watch the sunset.Jodi’s mind drifted to the service. She was glad she had invited Matt. It gave him peace. That’s what she wanted. Jodi was surprised Matt didn’t bring Mindy. At the town celebration, he had seemed completely taken with her. Jodi had figured he had confided in her. She had to admit that she was a little too gleeful when Mindy wasn’t at the cabin last night. Not that she had a chance with Matt anymore.Jodi let herself get caught up in the memory of how handsome Matt had looked this morning; the captain with his soldiers behind him in dark suits and ties. They all had looked good. Jodi put her finger to her mouth. Her mind drifted to last night. The sight of Matt – rugged and shirtless; his tan muscles proudly out for her to admire. Her lips parted, her tongue wetted the tip of her
Matt, Patty, and the deputies walked down to the lake shore. The deputies marched in formation behind Matt and Patty. They all wore dark clothing. Patty held a lantern and a white rose. Carter held a lantern as he walked in front of the deputies and behind Matt and Patty. Williamson held a lantern as he walked behind the rest of the deputies.Jackie had come over last night and gave them lanterns. She had given Patty a rose to drop in the water. And she had given Matt a bottle with a cork and a bag of blue sand. She had said it was for him to write a letter to his son. Matt was to put his letter in the bottle with the sand. When Matt was ready, he was supposed to drop it into the water. Once they got to the lake, Williamson stood next to Matt. The sheriff’s department stood perfectly still as they watched a row of lights come from the direction of the Garvey cabin. The clergy walked in front of them with a lantern. The two groups stood at the lake’s edge. The clergy stood in front of
Matt couldn’t believe how his men rallied around him. As soon as Jackie had left his house, Dalton had started making coffee. Williamson had grabbed trash bags to put all the beer cans, liquor bottles, and various other garbage in. Matt had drunkenly gone upstairs to take a shower. The deputies had insisted on coming with Matt to Lynx Lake. Patty, the switchboard operator, did, too. The three college students from Phoenix who worked the late shift had been happy to cover for Patty while she was gone. They needed the money. Williamson had been able to get six cops from surrounding counties to watch the town while they were gone. Williamson had told Mayor Walker that they were taking Matt away for some R&R. Walker had been ecstatic and had no problem with all the guys leaving town at the same time. Walker believed it would do Matt a world of good. They pulled up to the cabin late Monday afternoon. Daniel’s car was at the other cabin when they arrived. Matt assumed Barb was with him. The
