Nerthus

The metallic doors open with a ding, and I get out, picking my phone out of my pocket.

35th floor, Aesir Industries.

I have to smile again at the name but hide it swiftly by clearing my throat. Stepping through the large sliding door, I am welcomed by a petite elderly woman, waiting for me in front of the now emptied reception desk.

“Aria?”

I nod as I near her with a smile and am quite surprised as she holds out her hand for me to shake.

“Oh, I’m Elinor. Welcome and thank you for coming.”

“It’s my pleasure, thank you for having me.”

And paying me.

Following her through the offices, we reach a secondary elevator that transports us directly into the penthouse. I have to hold in my snicker as she repeats her boss’ wishes for me.

“And don’t worry about him being quiet. He is not the talkative one. Therefore, any small talk has to be kept to a minimum.”

She opens the door by holding a card against a panel next to the door and hands me the card.

“This will get you out of the building. You can leave it at the night guard when you leave.”

“Alright, thank you.”

She shows me through the astonishing apartment with large windows and white marble floors.

“Please don’t look at him too intently, he doesn’t like to be stared at.”

Oh, someone is very insecure about being ugly.

Don’t worry, I’m not the staring type.”

She smiles kindly as she finishes her round and turns to leave.

“Thank you, Aria. Have a good night then.”

Oh, I surely will.

“Thank you, Elinor. You too.”

I’m already on my way into the bedroom, as I hear how she closes the door behind her. Something has me feeling nervous again. That’s one thing I usually don’t feel at a client’s place. As I sit on the bed waiting, the minutes pass excruciatingly slowly.

Maybe Elinor forgot to tell him.

I get up to look out of the window and watch the enlightened street. I read the slogans on billboards and follow the acts on the big screens.

Suddenly, I hear how the door is being opened. By the time it closes again, my heartbeat is skyrocketing.

What the hell?

Not even the breathtaking view gets me distracted.

“Who are you?” His deep and smoky voice has a pleasurable shiver traveling up my spine.

As I’m expecting a small, old and probably hunch-backed man, my breath hitches in my throat as I lay my eyes on the Greek God before me. His black hair is cut neatly on the side and left a bit longer on the top. He has it styled back, and it pairs perfectly with his piercing black eyes. His strong jawline as well as his  tall and bulky frame give off those ‘Don’t mess with me-vibes’ I appreciate in a man. He is dressed in a dark suit that gives his dangerously appealing figure another edge.

Fearing that I might be staring at him agape, I straighten my spine before I speak.

“I’m Aria. What can I call you?”

He scoffs as he goes to put down his watch on his bedside table.

“And your real name?”

“My name is Aria.”

I have to push down the urge to ogle him and turn around to watch him through the reflection in the glass.

So much for not being the staring type.

“Tell me your name.”

Typically, having good looks, he thinks he owns the world.

If a client isn’t satisfied, you do anything to change that.

“Rachel.”

“Rachel?”

“Yes.” I chuckle “I’m afraid it doesn’t sell nearly as well as Aria.”

If I wasn’t able to observe him step behind me through the reflection, I would have felt it. The heat radiating off his body has mine burning up instantaneously.

“So, what can I call you?”

He clicks his tongue as he ignores my question once again.

“Is there something interesting to see outside?”

I shake my head slowly.

“I was told you would not like to be stared at. But with your handsome appearance, I’m afraid I’d break that rule nearly immediately.”

I smile over my shoulder as he is still looking at me with an expressionless face.

“Turn around, Rachel.

As I turn around, I look into his eyes and, oh, mama. It’s been a while since I felt like melting under such an intense gaze. I take a step forward, closing the distance and lift my hand to caress his jaw.

“You can choose another name for me if you don’t like it.”

He just looks at me like I was transparent, and I get the hint. He is really not into talking. I try my best to be the appealing flirty companion I’m paid to be and keep my voice seductively low.

“You seem to be quite stressed, what do you do to be so stiff?”

I move my hands down his strong neck and to his wide shoulders, starting to open the buttons of his white shirt.

“My massages are the best. Maybe I can loosen up some of your tensed up muscles.”

He just keeps watching me as I open his shirt slowly, careful to graze his skin from time to time. As I finish opening his shirt, I peel it off his broad shoulders and damn. Some higher being must have heard my prayers as this is going to be the best-looking man I’ll ever have between my legs. His chest looks as if it has been chiseled out of marble by Michelangelo himself. His abs give me the desire to roam my tongue over them.

“Wow, looks like you train a lot.”

He sneers as he finally speaks again.

“I’m a farmer from Missouri, hard work gets me all the training I need.”

Is he messing with me, or does he want to do a role-play?!

“Would you agree with me, Rachel?”

By the way he keeps pronouncing my name derogatorily, I would say he is playing with me.

“Of course.”

I open a few buttons of my blouse, showing him some of the lace of my red bra before I get on my knees. I see his jaw clench and as he doesn’t say anything more, I guess I’m good to go. I open his pants and lower them with his boxers, having an already rock-hard cock spring in my face.

So, he doesn’t despise Rachel that much.
