Los Angeles:
"We can't afford to miss her this time. Do you hear me?" Detective Wallace instructed his team with unwavering determination.
"Yes, sir," came the unified response, echoing their commitment to the mission.
A squad of soldiers stealthily approached the warehouse door, underscoring the gravity of the operation led by Detectives Diana and Wallace. Abruptly, Wallace's phone vibrated, injecting a moment of suspense into the intense atmosphere.
Retrieving it from his pocket, he answered and whispered to Lieutenant Rivera, motioning for Diana to proceed with breaching the door. "I'm in the middle of an operation, Lieutenant Rivera."
"The hashish has been taken from the storage, Detective," Rivera reported through the phone.
"And the cocaine too," added another officer on the line.
Diana's voice echoed from inside the warehouse, "There's nothing here, no one!" Wallace turned off his phone, entering the room.
"She played us again," Wallace growled in frustration.
"Your informant misled you, Wallace," insinuated Diana, lowering her gun.
"No, she provided what we had. We're just late. I need to talk to her," he replied, heading out of the warehouse to his car, with Diana following.
"Gabriella isn't an easy woman to catch, is she?" she snapped.
"It won't be long until we have her," Wallace responded, starting the car as Diana gestured for him to take off.
"Let's head back to the station, boys," she ordered, encapsulating the urgency of regrouping.
Teca Company:
A woman elegantly exited the elevator, clad in a long-sleeved blue shirt tucked into black pants, complemented by a jacket and blue heels. Her brunette hair was impeccably styled in a short cut, radiating both professionalism and sophistication.
"Morning, Mom," greeted the receptionist with a respectful nod.
"Good morning, Marie," she replied politely, entering an office that exuded an air of authority.
Teca, a well-reserved laminated glass building, housed the following scene.
A gentleman entered the office where the lady had gone after a while.
"Thalia, why so early?" the man asked, expressing curiosity mixed with familiarity.
"It's my business, right, George? I come in anytime I want to. I need all of you in the conference room. Tell the others, please."
"At your command, miss," declared George, heading to the other office across Thalia's with an air of deference.
The Conference Room:
Seven young ladies and gentlemen, including George, Daniela, David, Charles, Pamela, and Julian, took their seats in the conference room. A young boy named Brian, around seventeen, sat at the end of the table, adding a dynamic touch to the group. After a few minutes, Thalia entered.
"It's a great morning, my lovely family," Thalia smiled, taking her seat carefully. "The products are ready for shipping. I need everyone's focus on this. Go out and do a great job as always. Brian, I doubled your shipment. We are shipping now."
"Did you get the products?" Brian asked, displaying a keen interest in the proceedings.
"I doubled your product. The cargo is heading to Bogota. You should inform your boys to have everything ready," Thalia repeated, fixing her gaze on Brian with a mix of authority and expectation.
"Yes, miss," Brian responded, acknowledging the responsibility entrusted to him.
"Excuse me, Mom," Marie knocked at the door.
"Yes?" Thalia responded, seamlessly transitioning from business to attend to her surroundings.
"Detective Wallace is here," Marie informed, adding an unexpected twist to the routine.
"Show him into my office. I will be there in a minute."
"Okay, Mom," Marie walked back, leaving an air of anticipation in the room.
"Detective Wallace? What do you have with that man?" George inquired, highlighting the intrigue surrounding Thalia's connection with law enforcement.
"I'm his informant. We talk about Gabriella. Is that enough for you, George?" Thalia answered politely with no hesitation, subtly revealing her dual roles.
"Gabriella, huh?" George chuckled. "What information do you have on that mysterious legend, Thalia?"
"I have everything on her. Let's get to work now, everyone, please," ordered Thalia, seamlessly shifting the focus back to the impending tasks.
Wallace was seated, visibly furious and disappointed.
"Detective James Wallace. How did the operation go?" Thalia passed by him to her chair happily, adopting a calm yet authoritative demeanor.
"We were late. Yet again, Thalia. Yet again," responded Wallace in anger, conveying his frustration at the elusive target.
"What happened?" inquired Thalia, displaying a genuine interest in the details.
"We can't look for a face we don't know. Maybe she passed by me, and I smiled at her," Wallace insinuated, unraveling the complexity of their pursuit. "We need a face, Thalia. A face."
"Listen, Detective," Thalia stood up, her posture exuding a sense of command. "I have never met Gabriella before. I told you everything I know about that woman. Because of me, you managed to capture tons of her cocaine."
"The cocaine is gone. Sergio's hashish as well. We have nothing now. Nothing. I need something more valuable. Something that won't fail," Wallace lamented, exposing the gravity of the situation.
"I gave you information because I never wanted to involve drugs in my business. Now I have nothing," explained Thalia, walking to the corner with her hands crossed, revealing a vulnerable side beneath her strong exterior. "If I find out anything, I will call you. I will let you know."
The landline on Thalia's desk rang, and she rushed to pick it up.
"Hello, Thalia Sanroman," she started, taking a seat. "Camilo?" She snapped. "I need to speak in private if you don't mind, Detective Wallace.
"Sure. Let's meet tomorrow," said Wallace, heading out of the office, leaving an air of confidentiality.
"Not tomorrow. I have a business trip for a week."
"Then the week after. We need you."
Waiting until he walked far, she answered.
"Camilo, my baby," she joyed in surprise. "How is it going?"
"My job is done, and I want to come home, Mom," Camilo spoke on the phone, adding a touch of emotion to the conversation.
"What happened, my boy? Was it all good?" she asked delicately, revealing a motherly concern.
"Yes, it was all fine."
"Okay... I will send George to get you. Okay? Love you, son."
"Love you too, Mom."
"Bye. I can't wait to see you," smiled Thalia as she hung up, showing a softer side behind her commanding demeanor.
She took a stroll into the office across hers.
"George, you're heading to Spain. To pick up Camilo. Now," Thalia commanded seriously, seamlessly shifting from business to personal matters.
"And my job?" inquired George, expressing a practical concern.
"I will do it," Thalia replied, showcasing her hands-on approach to challenges.
"This is gonna be fun," Daniela jested from the corner, injecting a light-hearted tone into the serious atmosphere.
"The boss on the team again
. Huh... George, you better hurry and live for Spain," David joked, adding a touch of humor to the situation.
"Please be quick. And you will be taking a few of the shipment to Spain too. So, welcome to your part-time job," Thalia ordered, showcasing her ability to adapt and delegate effectively.
"How big is the package?" George asked, seeking clarity on the upcoming tasks.
"Not big," responded Thalia as George headed out of the office, grimaced, emphasizing the manageable nature of the responsibilities.
She sat at the table where George was, placed a few buttons on the computer, and asked everyone to get ready for the field, seamlessly transitioning back to her role as the leader.
The Police Station:
Wallace headed into his office, where Detective Diana and Lieutenant Rivera awaited his arrival.
"The cocaine and hashish are gone. About ten thousand kilograms. Those drugs were taken from under our noses," Diana angrily spoke, echoing the frustration permeating the entire team.
"The whole station was on the operation. We gave her space to take everything," Lieutenant Rivera continued, highlighting the tactical miscalculation that led to the setback.
"How are you sure it was Gabriella who took the drugs, Lieutenant Rivera?" Wallace urged, questioning the assumptions underlying their pursuit.
"Sorry, Detective, but Gabriela is the only silent drug dealer we know. She never kills. If it was Sergio Casadas, every officer at the station would be dead," chided Rivera confidently, providing insight into their profiling of the elusive criminal.

Several hours later. USA. Camillo descended the jet stairs, a smirk on his face, greeted by Thalia's radiant smile. "Great to have you in my arms," she sighed, hugging Camilo tightly. "How was your flight?" "Weird but okay. I'm so tired. All I need is to get home and rest." He headed into the car with Thalia behind him. "I will have to apologize, but you might not have that much of a rest. We are heading to Mexico." Thalia fastened her seatbelt. "Well, I would give anything to be in Mexico for a short while. I mean, apologize? It's quite the best news I've had today after the weird disappearance of George." "Well, don't worry about George. He is alright. I just asked him to run an errand for me, that's all. Julian, please let's head to the house. Brian is waiting." "I haven't seen Brian in ages. I really miss my big brother." Camilo took out his phone from a bag. "He as well can't wait to see you. He is always excited with you, but with me, he is just a serious employee." Jul
"Good morning," greeted Camilo and Brian as they walked into Gabriella's bedroom with a tray of milk. "You two had a lovely night, didn't you?" chuckled Camilo at the ladies who still lay asleep in each other's arms. "Come give me a hug, you two boys," beckoned Gabriella, getting upright to Camilo who ran in first. "And I wasn't missed, was I?" smirked Thalia at Camilo. "Obviously, you were," replied Camilo. "Then I deserve one, don't I?" insinuated Thalia as Camilo went in to give her one. "Okay, I'm happy to have you all boys here, and your mother. Let's enjoy this week and work as well. Brian, you need to get everything ready, son." "Wait, love," snapped Gaby at Thalia, who was still chatting. "I haven't seen you for the longest, all of you, and I think before we talk about business and everything, let me just enjoy a few or an hour with you guys. Breakfast at the table like we used to." "I think mom is right, Mother. We should have space from everything," elaborated Camilo. "
"For how long will it be? I'm really going to miss you. So much," stated Thalia, holding hands with Gaby as they walked through the coffee field. "I don't know. A couple of months. As long as we manage to get what I want. All will be good," responded Gaby. "Look, I've made that place very secure for you. A few guards will always keep an eye on you. I have a couple of ladies inside as well. I did just the same for Canta." "Oh! About Canta, he recently asked me if I can let him take a couple of months off after this mission." "And what did you tell him?" questioned Thalia. "Of course, I said yes. Why wouldn't I? He's been very good at his job. I would love to appreciate him as well." "People like him don't get vacation, honey. People like Canta can only be ready to shoot when needed. People like us don't give vacation offers. It's like risking our lives," Thalia explained, granting her hand to hold onto Gaby. "You know very well that I don't agree with your way of thinking. I will
"I couldn't believe my eyes. It was beautiful. I loved everything," Thalia exclaimed as they headed to the main house, with the boys accompanying them. "I could tell from your eyes. Just like the way they tell me right now that you want to be with me today and the next, but you're anxious because you can't stop thinking about work and the mission," noted Gaby, perceptive and composed. "I'm so sorry. You know how I get when you're involved. Every time I deviate from the plan, it feels like I'm risking you." "You know one thing I've learned from you is that I will always know who I want to get back to. Who I will always keep living for." "Can we talk about the mission then?" Thalia inquired. "Sure," replied Gaby. Thalia gestured to Brian to bring the package to the house. They all settled in the sitting room, ready for what was to come. In about ten minutes, Brian returned with a fine lady who looked exactly like Gaby. She seated herself next to Thalia, greeting them all politely,
Seated comfortably, Thalia initiated a conversation with her team, who, with skeptical expressions, wondered about her unexpected presence. Unfazed, she smiled and eased into the moment. "I wouldn't mind reintroducing myself," she remarked. "I'm Thalia Sanroman—your new boss. Specifically, your new boss in the realm of drug trafficking." "This has to be a joke," David protested. "Not to me. You've all passed the test excellently. Well, George passed excellently, about average. As I was saying, we have a mission at hand. Gabriela and I collaborate, in a way. She's the boss, as you know, and she needed a team to stay. Her trusted ones are accompanying her on a mission, and you guys came to my mind." "Can we be done with this, please?" muttered Daniela. "Oh, Rivera, please." Rivera approached, releasing them from the cuffs and chains that had restrained each of them. George, though, appeared more distressed than the others, and David glared at Thalia, clearly irritated by her antics
Obliged with their new duties, Brian expertly piloted them to a grand mansion known as La Rico. They brushed off their excitement, acknowledging that La Rico exceeded their expectations in both beauty and underrated allure. The expansive house featured glass on one side and a brick design on the other, creating a stimulating contrast. A pristine face pool in the courtyard beckoned for a refreshing dip. The exterior wore a tasteful sky-blue hue, while the interior gleamed in a bright, sparkling white. Thalia gracefully disembarked first from the jet, her entourage following, their eyes captivated by the beauty surrounding them. “Is this yours?” Daniela queried Thalia as they strolled side by side. "Well, for a week. I will be. Listen up, guys. I want you to feel at home. Choose a room for yourselves; there are over twenty in the house. There won’t be work for the meantime until the boss arrives. I'm leaving you all in the care of my trusted men, Julio and Martin. They will take exce
It was about eight thirty when Mr. Edward himself came to pick me up my slumber. "Come have breakfast with me dear." Exclaimed he with a knock at my door as I was staring through the window of my bedroom. My room placed up the last floor of the mansion with it's window view pointing straight to the villa fields that were filled with yellow flowers. Out where over twenty workers trimming the fields and at the very end of the gardens caught my eye. There sat a young man with his back facing the front. He looked lost in thoughts and rather disturbed by his work. I walked out my room finding Mr. Edward turned at the support of his walking stick gazing at me. "Breakfast. I shall pass." Said I locking my door room behind. "You can go on. Have your breakfast Mr. Edward, I will be by the field
