CHAPTER 3: PLAYTIME

Michelle's POV

While Black and I were drinking, someone approached me and invited me to dance. I looked at Black, she just nodded and smiled at me. I smile devilishly.

I reached out my hand to the man.

"My pleasure," I said in a seductive tone. We dance like there's no tomorrow. He starts to become touchy. I could almost feel his breath because he's literally close to me.

I smiled at him and whispered "It's showtime, baby"

I pulled him to the washroom and he locked the door, I immediately gave him a torrid kiss...

He started kissing me back,

My plan works again 'coz he's slowly entering his hands inside my dress.

I create a space between us and kick him where it hurts the most.

"Fuck! Oh shit! Damn! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?" He says that while writhing in pain. He was almost lying on the floor. I smirk at him.

"That's the payment for the kiss I gave you, for touching me, and thinking that you can easily have me! Sorry to say, darling, I'm not into lust sex" I stated and came out with a smile on my face while he continued shouting.

I approached Black with a huge smile on my face., She immediately stood up when she saw me.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Two balls knocked out," I said sarcastically. She just laughs as we walked out way out to leave the bar...

"Where are we going Black?" I asked her.

"My condo," she said without looking at me

"Seriously? It's too early! Let's go bar hopping" I suggested

"I've lost my appetite!" She said annoyingly

"Why?" I asked.

"I'll tell you later!" I just nodded.

While on the road, we saw a girl sitting next to her car. I think her car broke down or some problems occurred.

We were supposed to cross the way but Black just pulled over.

"O-kay? What are you doing?" I asked confusingly.

"Let's help her!" I was surprised by what she said. First, she does not waste time on things that do not concern her, and second, her kindness is now transparent and it makes me uncomfortable.

"We don't know her, Black! Let's leave her." I suggested it again because I’ve watched a lot of news like this before. Someone in the middle of nowhere and asked the passerby for help but in the end, they are just evil people with bad intentions.

"She's still a woman. something might happen to her, Look at it this way, no human beings it's dark. There's a few or Rare for a vehicle to pass by!" When she said that, she immediately went down and approached the woman.

I was in awe when I saw the girl smile and hug Black but the shock is written all over Black’s face. I rolled my eyes.

"That girl is clingy!" I commented while looking at them.

Black smiled at the woman and they started walking towards where I was. When they entered the car, the woman immediately smiled at me.

"Hi I'm Roxanne!" she said. I just looked at her without any plan of answering her.

I saw that Black is eyeing me so I look at her and asked "what?" in my bored tone.

"Nothing! Okay Rox, hop in. We will bring you home!" said Black.

She got in the back seat, I mentally rolled my eyes! My car might get dirty!

"Thanks, Black. You are so kind!" I laughed a little at Black's reaction. It seems that she hadn’t heard those words for a long time.

"How about your car?" I ask without looking at her and to break the awkwardness that Black is feeling right now

"Umm, my driver is going here. He'll pick it up!" I just nodded and did not say anything.

Ironically, she is also from Makati. It's a coincidence that we saw her in Q.C. but she also lives in Makati.

She got off at Makati Ave. She said her house was close by so she bid goodbye to us though I ignored her, Black even exchanged their numbers. I just shook my head. When she started driving again, I started asking questions.

"Okay? What was that?" She looks at me as if asking what the hell I'm talking about.

"That friendly gesture with that girl!" I stated.

"What? Is it bad to be good?" she asked back.

"Haha! No, it is not, It's just not like you"

"Lol! I think Rox is kind! We can befriend her!"

"Don't know! As you've said, she's kind so we're complete opposite" I saw her shake her head at what I said. I just shrugged.

The great Black approaches someone and treats her nicely. I don't know what's on that woman that she was able to captivate Black.

Daze POV

"What was that Daze?" Daryl asked me.

"She's the girl I'm talking about," I told him. I can't stop myself from smiling.

"Damn! Coincidence, huh? She's the great Black. She is known in Different bars and clubs, if she looks easy to get, you're mistaken, that girl is really scary!"

"I heard about the great Black being the hottest girl in this area, kissing guys then afterward dumping them but I didn't realize that she's just an ordinary girl, nothing special! She’s just basic, " I said and drank the beer.

"She's really pretty. You only say that because you love someone else and unfortunately, she's here!" I immediately looked at him and where he's looking at. I saw Steffany with her friends. She's gorgeous as ever.

I was about to stand up to approach her but Daryl stopped me.

 "What? You're planning to win her back? In your situation, you can do nothing but look at her from a distance because until you’re not changing, you will continue to hurt her!" I removed his hand resting on my shoulder.

"I just want to talk to her.!" I said and approached Steffany. I saw Nica and my cousin, Maggie eyeing me but I didn't bother to give a shit. I just want to talk to Steffany.

"Steff, can we talk?" I have to ask a straightforward question. She looked at her friends before answering

"Give me a minute. Let's meet outside!" She turned his back on me but I still smiled. At least she will still talk to me.

I got out and sat down in front of my car. Just a few minutes passed. I saw her came out. I waved for her to notice where I was...

"What is it?" She asked

"Come with me first. It's better to talk there." I said and pointed to the bridge near the bar. She was hesitant.

"Trust me" I encouraged her.

She averted her eyes and walked towards the bridge. I immediately followed her. We just walked quietly until we reached the bridge. She stared at the peaceful river. Her eyes were dazzling as the moonlight hits her face while the wind is blowing her hair

"Thanks for the trust to come with me," I said.

 "I want to clear things up. I don't trust you, not again" I felt pain in my chest when She said that but I just ignored it and kept talking.

"Steff, how are you? It's been 2 years since we last talked, I always saw you at that bar. You graduated, Congrats!" I said to break the ice.

"I'm fine now, Daze. I'm happy with my life, with my new boyfriend. I'm happy without you in my life. So please, if you're trying to enter in my life again, sorry to tell you because No Daze allowed!" She said without even looking at me. I felt a fang in my chest but I manage to smile.

 "Don't worry, I'm here to have a closure. I know it doesn't change anything but at least it will free your grudges and my regrets" I said sadly

"You know what Daze? You cheated on me and the shittest part is the girl is my cousin but then I forgave you. I'm happy now so there's no point in hating the both of you, besides, you didn't end up together" She said with a sad smile on her face. I should feel more guilty and repent and apologize but why is that when I'm looking at her, I stopped caring about what she's saying because I'm getting overwhelmed with happiness that she stared me in the eyes again.

"Daze, I know I have no right to you but, I hope for you to change. Get serious! Leave your bad habits and start anew, you're not getting younger anymore!" She said and forced a smile.

 "Thank you" That's all I said. she patted my shoulder and went back to the bar.

When she left, the smile on my lips disappeared. She already has a boyfriend. Maybe I need to let go. She doesn't want me in her life anymore, so why would I fight if I knew I will fight a losing game. I was walking my way back to the bar when I saw Black coming out of the bar. She seems in a hurry and with her friend. They are laughing.

"Sorry Steff, it's too late to change," I said to myself while looking at Black's passing car.
